Welcome Welcome to the 2017 Rainbow Hills Ranch production sale. We appreciate your continued support of our program and without you we would not be able to do the job that we take pride in, breeding superior Angus seed stock.

For those not familiar with our operation, we are a fourth generation ranch that has been raising Angus seed stock for 55 years.

We have always selected cattle with traits favorable to the commercial cattleman with growth, calving ease, longevity and structural conformation in mind. We manage our cow herd without a lot of pampering. I believe that the cows need to work for us and we do not work for them. Our calves never see creep feed and this helps to get the total picture of a cows performance and value in the herd.

Again this year you will find a good selection of bulls. We are also offering forty one open yearling heifers with the top picks right off the top of my replacement pen. You will find that we have a very uniform set of bulls that will go out and work well for you for many years to come. The bulls have been selected for performance and conformation. We feel that we have selected cattle that will put added value in your calf crop. The females are fancy, productive females that are ready to go work in your herds. Not often do you get the opportunity to access the top of our female pen, but those who have, know the job they can do. You will appreciate the many years of production and profitability they can bring to your herd.

Sight Unseen Purchases We would like you to attend the sale, but if you are unable to Warren or any of the sales staff would be glad to assist you. We are not satisfied unless you are. There will be a cellular booster on site sale day, but if you need assistance please inquire prior to sale.

Herd Management & Health We make a special effort to manage our cattle so they will perform to the maximum for you. We do not creep feed our calves as we feel that using weaning weights is a tool to indicate a cows performance. Our calves are weaned in late October and fed a high ruffage diet, you will find that our cattle are not carrying the flesh common to some purebred herds, these cattle will respond quick to grass and will last longer for you. Our cattle are all vaccinated in June with 8-way and cattle master 5 and then this is repeated again in October with an application of Ivermec. Our cows survive under normal conditions without a lot of pampering.

Breeding Guarantee We stand behind our cattle and if you get a bull or a female that will not breed please let us know in a reasonable fashion and we will look after you. We will not be responsible for physical mismanagement, and not provide more than the original sale price.
