RSL Red Angus will offer to take sale bulls back home to feed and care for them until an agreed upon delivery time. We will do this free of charge as a service to our customers. We would like bulls returning to our farm to be insured for injury or loss.

You do not have to bring your trailer on sale day. Just load up the family or some friends and come to SLS for a complimentary lunch, an outstanding bull sale and some hospitality after the sale.

WELCOME to the 27th Annual NORTHERN PROGRESS BULL SALE We have a very exciting lineup of bulls for our 27th bull sale. Performance, calving ease and style second to none. 40 very strong yearling bulls and 20 aged bulls that have been developed to show their full potential without affecting their longevity.

The bulls have been hand fed a 15% Co-op Feeds pellet as well as oat/triticale/silage mixed with tub ground hay and free choice hay bales.

We are willing to return the bulls home after the sale and deliver them to their new homes at an agreed upon time. Bulls need to be insured before returning to our farm.

2016 has been a very good year for our family at RSL Red Angus. We have welcomed two new grandchildren to our family. Ashley and Randy had Sadie Katherine Anne on July 31 and two weeks later on August 13, Courtney and Jarett had Brinlyn Anne Marie. These two new additions, along with our 4 year old granddaughter, Carmen have definitely been a bright light in our lives and have made a positive change at our farm.

This great, dark red herd bull was purchased by RSL Red Angus at the KBJ Round Farms Dispersal Sale at Clyde, AB on December 15, 2016.

His dam is a moderate, great footed cow, with a special udder. She stems back to the great Miss Pathy 62A cow that has no less than 61 progeny registered. She was the lead producing cow for Stewart Cattle Co., Sebastien Stewart.

Red Bieber Rollin Deep Y118 was used in both the U.S. and Canada. Semen was limited with only a couple of semen packages being sold in Canada.

Red TR Little Deep 285B is one of the most talked about bulls in the Red Angus breed. His performance and EPDs make him one great breeding unit. 4. puRcHaseR’s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be fed, watered, and cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable time.

5. DeliveRy at cost: Or haul your own and save delivery costs (See inside front cover for details).

6. insuRance: An insurance representative of a major livestock insurance company will be present to care for insuring cattle.

7. ceRtiFicate oF RegistRy: A certificate of registry and transfer will be furnished for each animal sold as a registered animal, after settlement has been made.

8. HealtH: All cattle will be in excellent health.

9. announcements: Changes of information contained in the catalogue relating to the animals offered for sale will be announced from the auction box and such announcements shall take precedence over the printed matter in this catalogue.

10. bReeDeR’s guaRantee: All animals sold are guaranteed breeders by the owner. Any animal that has not proven itself a breeder within six months after the date of sale, if in healthy condition, may be returned to the seller at the buyer’s expense. The seller reserves the privilege of trying for a period of six months to prove the animal a breeder. The seller at his option may either return the purchase price to the buyer or replace the animal with another of equal quality in full settlement of ALL claims. Yearling bulls shall be guaranteed breeders for no more than twenty-five females. All complaints regarding breeding difficulties must be reported in writing by the buyer to the seller within the specified time above, and any animal returned must be free from disease and in good health. All bulls will be scrotal measured and semen tested prior to sale and sell as guaranteed breeders. Scrotal measurements will be available sale day.

11. iDentiFication: Each purebred animal carries a readable tattoo.

12. liability: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of the buyer, neither owners, sale manager, clerks nor anyone connected with the sale assumes any responsibility, legal or otherwise, for damage of any kind.

13. contRact: The above terms and conditions shall contribute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal sold.

14. semen: Consignors reserve the right to collect semen on sale bulls for in-herd use only.
