Heather is a Floridian who was born in Ft. Pierce and grew up in Jensen Beach. She graduated from Martin County High School in 2006.
After starting at A&G, she quickly fell in love with the pool industry and feels she couldn’t have found a better company to work for, citing the company is successful, dedicated to its customers and employees, detailed, provides quality craftsmanship and materials, and gives back to the community by helping countless local organizations.

What is your name and job title, and how long have you been working for A&G Concrete Pools?
My name is Heather Vizzo, and I have been the Permit Coordinator at A&G Concrete Pools for 3 1/2 years.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and why?
I find immense satisfaction in utilizing my skills to contribute to the creation of beautiful pools for homeowners. Being in a position where I can see projects through to the issuance of permits brings a sense of accomplishment. What I cherish the most is the belief and appreciation shown by Travis, the owner of A&G, in the work I do.
In what ways has A&G Pools supported your personal and professional growth, and how have you taken advantage of these opportunities?
A&G has opened doors to new project opportunities for me, introduced me to influential individuals, and connected me with significant
community events, fundraisers, and volunteering initiatives. The company consistently pushes me beyond my comfort zone, sets deadlines, and offers constructive feedback. This environment has enabled me to learn new skills, develop goal-setting abilities, and cultivate a strong desire to actively participate in community events, which brings me a sense of fulfillment.
What skills do you bring to your job that are critical to your success?
Key skills that are vital to my success at A&G include my attention to detail, organizational abilities, a sense of responsibility, team collaboration skills, reliability, proactive approach, strong work ethic, and effective communication.
How do you ensure customer satisfaction with your work, and what steps do you take to exceed their expectations?
I ensure customer satisfaction by actively listening, engaging with patience and positivity, problemsolving effectively, and taking action to achieve desired outcomes. To exceed customer expectations, I approach interactions with empathy, maintain clear communication, set realistic expectations, and follow up on commitments. Effective communication, coupled with tangible actions, are pivotal in creating a positive customer experience.
What motivates you to come to work each day?
The knowledge that I am contributing to A&G's success in turning backyard dreams into realities serves as my daily motivation. It is a rewarding feeling to know that we are enhancing the community by providing individuals with a beautiful and reliable space in which to relax in the safety and privacy of their own homes.
What are some innovative or unique approaches you have used in your work at A&G Pools, and what impact have they had?
As I am consistently involved in problem-solving and seeking efficient ways to complete tasks, one notable innovative approach I suggested was to digitize and record our NOCs online. This adjustment has significantly expedited the process, especially since many Building Departments have transitioned to online permitting, which streamlines procedures.
How does A&G Pools contribute to the local community and support sustainable practices in the pool industry?
A&G not only dedicates time through volunteering, but also provides donations to local fundraisers and non-profit organizations that are integral to our community's wellbeing. Additionally, A&G, being a local company, contributes by generating employment opportunities for numerous St. Lucie County residents and their families. By constructing pools with the highestquality materials, A&G ensures that the community benefits from beautiful, durable, and sustainable poolscapes.
What do you see as the future of the pool industry, and how do you think A&G Concrete Pools will continue to lead in this area?
The pool industry is in a constant state of evolution, encompassing new product features and technological advancements. I anticipate a rise in the prevalence of "Smart Pools," with evolving technology shaping the industry's landscape. I'm excited to witness how technology further influences the pool sector. A&G's well-rounded knowledge, skillful team, and available resources ensure they are well-equipped to embrace the latest trends and technology, as they have consistently done.
