The weekend of March 20-22, 2015, the Evans JOAD hosted its annual

Frank Bergum Memorial Tournament.

We would like to thank Ike Loretto, of Loretto’s Archery, for letting us use his wonderful range. We would also like to thank the Town of Evans Rec. Department, those that worked our kitchen, set up and take down crew.

Thank you also to Lindsay for running the clock and the lights all weekend. Thank you also goes out to our score keepers, as well as our parents for their support all season.

We thank all our participants for doing their very best.

For those that took awards, congratulations.

We look forward to seeing everyone next season.

Bennett Beach Clean-Up

On Saturday April 25th, three scouts from Pack 578 met at Bennett Beach to do an Earth Day clean up. The kids worked hard and gathered several bags of trash. This not only helped to beautify the grounds , it also will count towards their community service hours, plus teach them that people should show respect to our Earth. Alva F. Smith of Angola, NY May 4, 2015 Husband of the late Dominica (Genovesi); loving father of Alvera Marie (Wayne) Thomas, Cynthia (George) Sikorski, Patrick Aquinn (Karen) Smith and Patricia Kazukiewicz; brother of the late James and Leo Smith; survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Interment services with military honors were held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Angola. Mr. Smith was a retired automation mechanic with the Ford Motor Co. and former member of the Highland Hose Co. Fire Co., Angola Moose and VFW Post 5798. Arrangements entrusted to Addison Funeral Home, Inc. ___________

Robert Otrosinka Jr.

Robert Otrosinka Jr., 60, passed away after a short illness, May 3, 2015 at his

daughters home in North Carolina. A native of North Tonawanda was the son of Robert Otrosinka and the late Mary Gearhart Otrosinka. He was preceeded in death by his son, Frankie Otrosinka. He is survived by his wife, Robin Otrosinka, daughter, Bobbi Otrosinka, four brothers, Keith, Tom, Dave and Steve Otrosinka and a Grandson, Isaac Rogers. Service will be private and the family asks in lieu of flowers that people make a donation to their local Hospice Services, _________
