Annual Chamber Christmas Bash Held

The Evans Brant Chamber of Commerce held their annual Christmas Bash on Monday December 8th at Pasquale’s in Derby. Josephine A. Rauker (nee Totaro) died peacefully in the comfort of friends and family on Monday, December 22, 2014. She was the daughter of Carl and Laura Totaro of Farnham, NY, born on May 25, 1924. She made her home there. Raised her three children there, welcomed them back when they visited with love and pride. She was a good daughter, a loving wife and mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother. One of her proudest achievements was to help found the Steve J. Rauker Memorial Park in Farnham after her husband passed away in 1988. She celebrated the accomplishments of family and friends, loved cooking a great meal, and above all appreciated a good joke. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Steve, her sisters Jessie and Marie and her brother Carl; she leaves her daughter Cynthia Rigby, MD (Ron), sons, Steve Martin Rauker (Brian) and Thomas George Rauker (Karen), grandson James Michael Rigby (Winnie), granddaughter Lucy Rauker; great-grandchildren Taylor Nguyen and Noah Rigby, a sister Frances DeMarco, nieces and nephews and her “adopted” daughter Maggie Borosky. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday Decmber 26 at St. Anthony’s Church, Farnham. Interment is in St. Anthony’s Cemetery with her husband Steve. Arrangements by the Latimore Schiavone Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Farnham Fire Dept. or St. Anthony’s Church in Mrs. Rauker’s memory. __________
