Everhaunt Haunted House Gives Girl a Halloween to Remember
Over the summer local Angola business Everhaunt was asked if they would help a young 12-year-old girl battling cancer create a day to remember. “We thought about that for about 1 milisecond,” said Everhaunt owner, Kevin Donovan, “and we are forever grateful for the opportunity to have done this and even more grateful to have met that special girl, Aria.”
On Saturday, October 8, 2022 Aria Scheffler joined the boocrew at Everhaunt and was the honorary “actor of the night” in the award winning attraction. With the help of Sweet Buf falo, Everhaunt provided a night of spooktacular fun for Ari celebrating her favorite holiday, before she continues her treat ment. Aria will be unable to participate in normal Halloween night activities this year, but was invited to trick-our-treat throughout the attraction, dress up and scare guests, and even received a surprise call from Alex Vincent of her favorite horror series, “Chucky”.
“The more I spoke with her the more I realized just how strong she was” said Donovan. “She was positive, energetic, filled with joy. Just a really good person. And a good actor as well, actually!”
