Lance E. Harrison of Duxbury MA, formerly of Angola, NY, died peacefully at home on February 11, 2023 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Linda J. (Waring) Harrison of Duxbury MA. Lance shared a special bond with Sean (Wendy) Burke of Virginia Beach, VA, and their children Kylie, Sean, and Kendall. Lance dedicated 36 years of his life to teaching physical education at Lake Shore Central Schools in Angola, NY. He faithfully served the community for many years. He was a beloved coach, mentor and friend to countless student athletes. Coach was an inspiration to everyone he met. He was a determined and passionate man who devoted his life to teaching young people the value of hard work and dedication. He was a true leader, a motivator and a friend to all who knew him. His passion for all sports was infectious, and he was a true believer in the power of teamwork and discipline. Family and friends invited to attend a Celebration of Lance’s Life, on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 4PM-7PM at the Addison Funeral Home, Inc., Angola, where prayers will follow visitation at 7 PM.
