WELCOME TO THE 10TH ANNUAL AMERICA’S GRAPE COUNTRY WINE FESTIVAL

America’s Grape Country Wine Festival was first established in 2008

by William Merritt, owner of Merritt Estate Winery. The festival was started to increase the public’s knowledge about the grape wine industry of Lake Erie. This area is the largest grape growing region East of the Rockies. Grape growers in Chautauqua County produce approximately 65% of New York State’s total annual grape harvest.

This two-and-a-half-day festival showcases the best N.Y. & P.A. wines, agricultural producers and distilleries from across the state including specialty food vendors and local artisans. They all have come together to celebrate the region’s specialty in grape products and services.

WINE CLAIM CHECKS If you plan on buying wine or other beverages (and we hope you do!), you won’t have to carry your bottles around with you. Each booth is supplied with Claim Checks. Simply fill them out and return them to the seller. Please make sure that you fill out the claim check completely.

We are not responsible for lost items.

Your purchases will be picked up by a member of the Festival Staff and brought to the Wine Pickup area next to the Front Entrance of the Festival. Due to processing time, wine claim checks cannot be used after 4:00 p.m. on the show days Claim checks can only be used for wine and beverages. Food items or decor cannot be claim checked.

BLACK BUTTON DISTILLING Founded by owner and head distiller Jason Barrett in June 2012 at only 24 years old, Black Button Distilling tasting room and retail store opened to the public in January 2014, offering spirits tastings, distillery tours, craft cocktails and a unique venue to host public and private events. Every batch of world-class spirits is distilled from local NY grains, bottled, labeled, hand numbered and aged in Rochester. In June of 2017 Black Button Opened its second location in Buffalo on Swan Street. We specialize in gin, bourbon, and bourbon cream.

FULKERSON WINERY In 1989, Sayre Fulkerson opened Fulkerson Winery with a release of just 1,000 cases of wine.

Since then, we have steadily grown production while maintaining a stern focus on quality. Our portfolio showcases versatility and an uncompromising dedication to the territory of the Finger Lakes; from Riesling to Gruner Veltliner to Pinot Noir. HAZLITT 1852 VINEYARDS

The Hazlitt Family has been growing superb grapes on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake, New York for over 150 years. Established with the 1984 vintage and opened to the public in 1985, Hazlitt continues the six-generation family tradition of sustainable viticulture and award-winning wine production. Hazlitt’s internationally renowned wines include Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Cabernet Franc. Most notably, Hazlitt is infamous for its Red Cat and White Cat – two of the most popular and best-selling New York State wines available.

While the building is a little bigger than the day the doors opened. The spirit has remained the same. “This is still a warm and friendly place to enjoy award-winning wines including some of the best Riesling in the world,” says Leigh Hazlitt-Triner, one of the sixth-generation Hazlitts now operating the winery.

IDOL RIDGE Idol Ridge, is continuing to grow into a beautiful winery. Recently, we introduced our new line of sweet table wines, Buck & Bear. In addition to premium wines, we sell handcrafted spirits through our distillery, Alder Creek, which are also available for tastings. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the panoramic view with a glass of wine. We provide a comforting atmosphere with a lodge-style tasting room and windows facing Seneca Lake. MERRITT ESTATE WINERY

2016 marked the 40th Anniversary of Merritt Estate Winery in Forestville, NY! The Chautauqua County winery produces 26 vintages from dry to sweet and is best known for its trademark “Bella Rosa”. Merritt Estate Winery was one of the frst farm wineries organized in Chautauqua County under regulations established by Governor Carey in 1976; but the history of the Merritt Estate Winery dates all the way back to the late 1800’s. William T. Merritt turned the estate into a fullfunctioning winery in 1976. Since then, his son Jason C. Merritt joined the family operation which continues to thrive each year. The father and sin duo dedicate themselves to their small winery, devoting their time and energy into producing some of the area’s fnest wines and look forward to celebrating their 41st year of wine making excellence this September.

The Schulze Family invites you to gather around our charming cherry wood bar and experience wine making at its fnest. Our Winery is situated on 120 acres of land just minutes away from the south shore of Lake Ontario. We are an Estate Winery with 47 acres of vineyards, producing vinifera, hybrid and native grapes. The lake effect climate and rich soil enable us to develop unique still, sparkling and dessert wines. Our commitment to growing the highest quality grapes is the hallmark of our award winning wines. SWEDISH HILL WINERY Swedish Hill is consistently one of New York’s most awarded wineries, two-time honored 2015 Eastern US “Winery of the Year”, three Governor’s Cups, along with 68 gold medals for 21 diferent wines in 2014. Experience the variety of quality wines they produce from classic Finger Lakes Rieslings, crafted dry red wine, and even some fun and sweet fruity wines.

Visit their winery in the Finger Lakes or either of their satellite tasting rooms in Saratoga Springs and Lake Placid for more of their gold medal wines.

THOUSAND ISLAND WINERY

Thousand Islands Winery® is the largest farm winery in Northern New York State and is located along the majestic St. Lawrence River on a historic forty-acre farmstead established in 1836. The Winery began its operations in 2002 with the purchase of the farm by Steve Conaway and his wife Erika. The primary grape varieties being planted in the Thousand Islands Region include Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, Marquette, and La Crescent, which were developed by the University of Minnesota.

The development of these cold-hardy grapes is the very reason we now enjoy the benefits of the ever-expanding Northern New York wine region.

Thousand Islands Winery® is open every day except Christmas from 10 am to 5 pm with extended hours from April to December and hosts six major on-site festivals featuring live music.
