Two whole day excursions are included. Birmingham, London, Bristol or Manchester with a tour of the well-known tourist sites and shopping, the other is to a safari park in Woburn. It is also known for one of the tallest and largest working mills in the county, as well as numerous historic buildings, testament to the prosperous history of the town and port. Boston College was created in 1964 and specialises in continual education. It is to be found just next to the historic town centre. KARTING 5 half-days of go-karting, each session lasting for two hours. Students learn how to drive under the supervision of fully qualified instructors. Learn about the racing line, as well as the mechanics behind the engine. The track is recognized by the French Federation for Go-Karting.

HORSE-RIDING 5 half-days of horse-riding in total, each session lasting for three hours. Students, depending on their levels, learn to ride, to improve their technique, hacking, and are involved in the care and grooming of their horse. SAFARI 5 days in which to discover animal species from all over the world: •  3 days visiting the zoo of Beauval. There will be 5 workshops in total with the zookeepers on the themes of ‘Discovery of Africa’, ‘European Animals’, ‘Adventures in Oceania’, Gateway to Asia’, ‘The Americas’ etc. •  2 days at the Animal Reserve of the Haute Touche. LOCATION Our host towns, Barrie, Branford, Cambridge, Guelph and Waterloo are situated in Ontario, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Toronto. The county of Ontario is renowned for its lakes, rivers and the world famous Niagara Falls. ACCOMMODATION & FOOD Each student will be accommodated in a carefully selected host family by our Local Organisers. Many of our families receive our students regularly every year and all are thoroughly inspected before being accepted. Full-board. On weekdays: breakfast & evening meal in the host family, packed lunch with the group. At weekends, all meals with the host family.

ENGLISH CLASSES 33 hours of lessons during the 3 week stay Students are given an English language test on arrival and placed in English classes according to their language level. Average number of students per class: 12-14 with a maximum of 16. Our teachers are all fully qualified. Many of our teachers have worked regularly on our past programmes. They work with great enthusiasm and energy to male the classes really vibrant and enjoyable. Emphasis on spoken English and listening skills, including work on essential grammar and vocabulary. We aim to make students effective and confident in their everyday communication. All course materials are supplied. ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS Various sports e.g. swimming, tennis, badminton, table tennis, squash, etc. Leisure activities e.g. bowling, laser games, visits, etc. A whole day excursion per week, to discover the area including Niagara Falls, Wonderland - one of Canada’s greatest theme parks, and the CN Tower in Toronto, the 3rd tallest free-standing building in the world. SUPERVISION Students are supervised by our highly experienced team of English teachers and qualified Youth Leaders.
