MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR

2025 was an outstanding year for AngliSchools as we celebrated our 40th anniversary together, first with an all-schools’ service at St George’s Cathedral in March, followed by a Gala Dinner in June and finally the official opening in the Perth CBD of St George’s Anglican Grammar School, Head Office and AngliSchools International and Language College. In addition, we embraced our new name and brand, AngliSchools, a giant step in itself.
Our new set of values to be shared across every AngliSchool are Faith. Inclusion. Respect. Excellence. Together, these values form FIRE and speak clearly to the culture we seek to strengthen and the education we seek to provide.
Across AngliSchools, we continue to see significant growth in enrolments, major investment in school facilities, planning for new schools and a strong commitment to teaching, learning and the development of purposeful young citizens. Above all, we continue to be sustained by the people who make AngliSchools what it is: our staff, Principals and their leadership teams, Chaplains, School Councils, Board, Head
Office team, students and families. I extend my sincere thanks to the Archbishop of Perth, The Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO DD, the Bishops of Bunbury and Wangaratta, the Assistant Bishops of Perth, my fellow Board members, to our outstanding Chief Executive Officer, The Reverend Peter Laurence OAM, and to all who contribute so faithfully to the life and mission of AngliSchools.
As we move into our fifth decade, we do so with gratitude, confidence and a clear sense of purpose. I remain deeply thankful to be part of the AngliSchools story.
Mrs Lynne Thomson
We celebrated a story that remained true to its founders’ original vision of schools strong in their Anglican identity, high quality in the education provided, and accessible to families. What has been remarkable is the growth of our schools. In 1986 our first school, St Mark’s Anglican Community School opened. Now AngliSchools is a vibrant system of sixteen schools across three states and, excitingly, future schools are on the way.
We have recently launched Strategy 2030 that provides a clear shared direction for the years ahead.

MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Along with our Board Chair Mrs Lynne Thomson, I am delighted to present the 2026 Annual Report on the work of AngliSchools. After celebrating the Year of Hope and our 40th Anniversary together in 2025, one might be forgiven for thinking that our 41st year would be somewhat quieter and ‘business as usual’ as they say. Not so!
The launch of Strategy 2030 has set the path for our next five years, so from the February launch, it has been full steam ahead in its implementation. Strategy 2030 has set a new vision from this, our 41st year. Our vision is bold… to be Australia’s leading provider of quality, inclusive, fee-accessible Anglican schools; united in faith and learning, living our Anglican Identity. In this new vision statement, for the first time the Board has recognised our current and future reach to be a national one… a far cry from 1985 when we began in a corner of an office in a diocesan building in Perth, constructing our first school.
Whilst today’s vision may be grander and broader, our mission remains the same: To support and strengthen our
existing schools and grow new AngliSchools which provide a high quality, inclusive and caring education, one that is deeply immersed in Anglican Identity.
The more things change, the more they stay the same!
Over the past year, so much has happened in schools and Head Office to demonstrate the living out of our vision and mission. This Annual Report highlights some of our key initiatives, rightly grouped under Strategy 2030 ’s new five Core Domains:
» Anglican Identity
» Flourishing Communitie s
» Stewardship and Sustainability
» Op timisation and Innovation
» Governance and Compliance
An Annual Report inevitably looks backwards. 2025 was a time when we looked back on 40 years of extraordinary growth and achievement. Incredible to think that over 50,000 students have attended an AngliSchool since our first school opened its classroom doors in 1986. Over 50,000 young people who have received a high quality, inclusive and caring education, one that is deeply immersed in Anglican Identity. We have so much for which to give thanks to God.
As we cast our eyes to the horizon, our 17th AngliSchool is taking shape at Yanchep in Perth’s northern beaches. We also hold land in both WA and Victoria for our 18th, 19th, and 20th AngliSchools, which will be constructed over the years ahead.
All of this is possible thanks to those who work, lead and govern alongside me. The Councils, Principals, senior staff, Chaplains, teachers and support staff in our schools. The Board led by Mrs Lynne Thomson, fellow Chief Officers Ivan McLean and Joseph Pascuzzi, Directors and staff in Head Office. AngliSchools now has over 2,600 employees in total… each one in their own way growing our vision and living our values. Thank you one and all!
Psalm 126 verse 3 reminds us that ‘The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.’
It is indeed a joy and privilege to serve as the CEO of such a dynamic and purposeful group of schools. Enjoy the pages to follow which give an insight into the life and mission of AngliSchools.
Every blessing, The Reverend Peter Laurence OAM

This year we sought to capture our Anglican Identity as something that belongs to AngliSchools as a whole, and to each of us as individuals, in the words of a new prayer:
Gracious God, we thank you for AngliSchools: for all who work and learn, teach and play, think and grow with us.
We ask your blessing on students and staff, leaders and governors, and all in the AngliSchools family.
Give us grace to fully embrace our values; so that faith, inclusion, respect, and excellence flourish in our teaching and learning spaces, our visual and performing arts programs, our sporting, co-curricular, and service activities, and in our acts of worship. We pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Preserving and deepening an Anglican Identity that champions inclusion and social justice.
Anglican Identity is at the heart of AngliSchools and refers to the distinctive aspects of an Anglican school. It shapes who we are, how we serve, and the kind of communities we seek to build across our schools. We express our Anglican Identity through worship, chaplaincy, Religious Studies, service learning, leadership formation, staff induction, professional learning and the daily life of each school community.

A significant development during the last year was the articulation and launch of our shared values: Faith. Inclusion. Respect. Excellence. These values provide a common language across AngliSchools, while allowing each school to express them authentically within its own community. They are not simply aspirational words. They are intended to shape culture, guide decision-making, strengthen relationships and support a shared understanding of what it means to be an Anglican school. So that the identity we share is unambiguous, we have made clear what our FIRE values mean for us.
Our value of faith entails living our Anglican Identity and teaching Gospel values. It refers to trust in God and in God’s promises; to a belief in something greater than ourselves. In AngliSchools, faith is incarnational, grounded in the belief that in Jesus we can encounter the living God. Faith is invitational, as we invite our students to deepen their own Christian conviction or plumb the depths of whatever faith tradition they come from or profess. Faith is interactive, in constant conversation with those of other faiths, or of no faith at all. Through chapel services and other opportunities, students interact with Anglican Identity and Gospel values. They are opened to the possibility of engaging with God, and can learn the value of stillness, silence, and reverence in a well-balanced life.
Our value of inclusion is about promoting diversity, celebrating difference, welcoming all. It recognises that schools are diverse communities. AngliSchools welcomes people of all denominations and of all faiths and none. We provide an inclusive, caring, Anglican education by telling a particular faith story while ensuring that the stories of others will also be heard, explored and respected. Our genuine celebration of difference includes welcoming and fully involving students, staff and parents regardless of their race or religion, gender or sexual orientation, age or ability. We see this promotion of diversity and inclusion as positive and enriching of a true sense of our shared humanity.
Our value of respect entails compassionately respecting self, others and our world. The two great commandments, in which Jesus summed up the essence of the Christian faith, call us to love God and to love our neighbours as we love ourselves. Our schools thrive on the outworking of this through the value of respect that embraces self, others, and the world we share. This includes giving due regard to the full humanity of every person. It is lived out through individual self-esteem and acceptance, the honouring of all in the school community, and care for the environment, both local and global.

Our value of excellence is about pursuing high personal standards in all endeavours. Anglican schools have long maintained that the intellect is a gift from God, hence our reputation worldwide for the pursuit of academic excellence through exemplary models of teaching and learning. In the larger context of what makes us both human and children of God, we also seek excellence holistically in our wellbeing programs, worship practices, and service initiatives. We are learning communities who seek wisdom and new discovery in our intellectual pursuits, and together we endeavour to be our best in the classroom, the chapel, and the community.
Together, these values express the distinctive character of AngliSchools and provide a shared foundation for our schools.

Ongoing engagement with other Anglican providers across international, national and local contexts, together with access to high quality speakers, has continued to strengthen our professional practice, enabling us to share expertise, deepen theological understanding, and enhance the delivery of Religious Studies across our schools.
A diverse range of professional learning opportunities has been provided for Religious Studies Educators and Chaplains, including stimulating workshops on Science and Christianity: Understanding the Conflict Myth delivered by ISCAST (Christianity and Science in Conversation). In addition, Prayer Spaces in Schools Australia facilitated ongoing and practical professional learning sessions, supporting spiritually rich, engaging and reflective learning environments for students.
The Connections Forum held annually in May provides an opportunity for Religious Educators and Chaplains to connect nationally as a professional learning community. This year’s theme, Future in Formation, reflected the rapid emergence of new technologies and how Religious Studies educators navigate preparing our young people for a rapidly changing world, grounded in faith and critical inquiry. The Forum program aimed to support educators to deliver academically rigorous and personally affirming Religious Studies programs with confidence and creativity.

A comprehensive review and renewal of the Year 11 and 12 Religious Studies Program was undertaken in preparation for implementation across AngliSchools from 2027. This work included the development of contemporary teaching resources and assessments to support effective curriculum delivery and enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
The School Curriculum and Standards Authority Religious Studies Endorsed Program for Years 11 and 12 was also extensively reviewed and updated to support re-endorsement by the Authority. The revised program will be implemented in Western Australian AngliSchools offering the Religious Studies Endorsed Program from the beginning of the 2027 academic year. This program provides students with the opportunity to receive one unit equivalent towards the Western Australian Certificate of Education.
This curriculum renewal is an important expression of Anglican Identity in practice. It supports students to explore questions of faith, ethics, purpose, community and service in ways that are intellectually rigorous, personally meaningful and connected to the world in which they live.
AngliSchools explored the development of a Flourishing Leaders Program in collaboration with the National Society for Education, the Church of England and the Church in Wales. This work led to confirmation of AngliSchools involvement in the Church of England Education Office’s newly established Flourishing Leadership Framework. The framework will be co-designed with AngliSchools during 2026 to strengthen leadership development through a spiritual lens and a distinctly Anglican Identity. It is intended to support school leaders to flourish within their own contexts, while also contributing to a broader culture of hope, service, wisdom and purpose across the system.
Now in its eighth year, the partnership with All Saints Anglican School in Samoa continues to grow in both scale and impact. In 2025, two tours (June/ July and September/October) engaged a total of 46 students, followed by a further 49 students across two equivalent tours in 2026. Collectively, this represents 95 AngliSchools students whose lives have been enriched through participation in four tours over the 2025–2026 period.
Tangible contributions to the School in 2025 included the painting of four buildings, alongside environmental initiatives such as the planting of 10 coral formations during each tour.

Educationally, the initiative delivered 40 days of in-class immersion and lesson facilitation across the two-year period, reinforcing its commitment to meaningful cultural and educational exchange. In addition, participating students collectively raised over $4,000 in support of All Saints Anglican School, further highlighting the program’s spirit of service and community partnership.
AngliSchools continued to participate in the Anglican Schools Australia Annual Conference, a national gathering that brings together principals, chaplains, bishops, school council chairs, religious studies leaders and senior staff from Anglican schools across Australia.
The conference provides a dedicated program focused on Anglican Identity and offers a valuable
opportunity to engage with colleagues across the national Anglican schools sector. It supports shared reflection on the role of Anglican education in a rapidly changing world, while strengthening professional and personal connections across schools.
In 2025, the conference theme, Immersion: Living our Anglican Identity, invited delegates to consider how faith is expressed, nurtured and lived within Anglican school communities. Through worship, keynote addresses, workshops and shared conversation, delegates explored how Anglican Identity informs leadership, teaching, service and community life.
The conference also provided time for school leaders, governors, chaplains and educators to learn, worship and grow together, strengthening the connection between faith, leadership and the daily life of our schools.
In 2026, AngliSchools looks forward to welcoming the national Anglican schools community to Perth for the Anglican Schools Australia Conference, Grace-full Hospitality: Anglican Schools as Expressions of God’s Generosity.
AngliSchools continues to provide meaningful opportunities for staff and students to deepen their connection to Anglican Identity, shared values and service-led leadership.
New Staff Induction Days introduced new staff to the AngliSchools story, values and Christian purposes, helping build connection and a sense of belonging across the system. Student Leadership Days, led by The Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO DD, encouraged senior students to understand leadership as service, responsibility and contribution to community. Anglican Identity Days in Western Australia and Victoria/New South Wales brought together teachers, leaders, chaplains and support staff for worship, learning and reflection on the mission and purpose of AngliSchools.
Together, these formation opportunities strengthen the shared identity that connects AngliSchools across schools, states and communities.

2,600 FULL-TIME & PART-TIME STAFF ACROSS OUR SCHOOLS
AngliSchools strengthened staff expertise through professional learning networks, seminars and masterclasses focused on continuous improvement across our schools.
Networks for Directors of Teaching and Learning and Heads of Learning Areas supported collaboration, shared practice and curriculum implementation, while Leading Learning Seminars and Masterclasses built capability in data-informed improvement, whole-school literacy, Nationally Consistent Collection of Data, and Inclusive Education.
Implementation of the AngliSchools Vision for Learning continued across our schools in 2025, strengthening a shared commitment to purposeful, future-focused learning.
To support this work, AngliSchools published the Towards 2030 Vision for Learning School Implementation Tool, developed in consultation with Principals and Executive Staff. The tool provides a practical guide for schools as they embed the Vision for Learning in their own context.

Structured around four key phases and focus areas, the implementation roadmap assists school leaders to reflect on progress, identify priorities and plan future actions.

Our Vision for Learning Snapshot continues to support schools to reflect on their progress and identify key priorities for implementation.
A second edition, the Vision for Learning Snapshot 2025/2026, was published to schools at the beginning of the academic year. This edition was designed to inspire further growth and provide schools with a practical reference point as they continue to bring the Vision for Learning to life.
AngliSchools continued to develop tailored Careers and VET resources to support students as they explore future pathways and make informed decisions about subject selection, training, study and work.
Resources developed for schools include the Year 9 Exploring Your Future Careers resource, the Year 10 Future Focus Careers resource and the Year 11 Future Ready Careers resource. These resources are aligned with key pathway decision points and are designed to support students’ career readiness.
A further resource for Year 8 students, My Learning, My Future, will be published to schools during Semester 2, 2026.
This work reflects a broader commitment to helping students prepare not only for school success, but for lives of meaning, purpose and contribution.
Our students’ achievements reflect a diverse and personalised range of educational pathways on offer at AngliSchools, which means that every student can find a pathway to pursue their interests and future careers. The results of our Year 12 Class of 2025 are testament to our students’ commitment to personal excellence.

AngliSchools International moved into AngliSchools House in July 2025, alongside the newly re-branded AngliSchools Language College.
It was a challenging year for international education, with higher visa costs and closer scrutiny of applications affecting student numbers across the sector.
In response, AngliSchools International refreshed its marketing approach and strengthened relationships with agents and schools in key markets. As a result, AngliSchools International has:

The Board’s decision to open the Language College to students beyond AngliSchools also provides new opportunities for growth in the years ahead.

In 2025, AngliSchools continued implementation of our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), following formal endorsement from Reconciliation Australia in 2024.
The RAP continues to guide us in strengthening relationships, building understanding, and identifying meaningful ways to advance reconciliation across Head Office and schools.
Throughout the year, the RAP Working Group, comprising representatives from across AngliSchools, continued to support reconciliation initiatives and shared cultural learning. This included school-based engagement with National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week, as well as broader opportunities for reflection, learning and participation across the system.
This work reflects our commitment to an Anglican Identity that is grounded in inclusion and respect for the dignity of all people.
In 2025, the inaugural CEO Staff Awards were introduced to recognise the expertise, dedication and professionalism of staff across our schools. The Awards align with our Values and Vision for Learning, and the pillars of Anglican Identity. They comprise two categories:

The official opening of AngliSchools House at 441 Murray Street in the Perth CBD was a major milestone in the life of AngliSchools.
More than 400 guests, staff and students gathered on 5 September 2025 for the occasion. The building was dedicated to the glory of God by The Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO DD, Archbishop of Perth, and jointly opened by The Honourable Patrick Gorman MP, Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister, Assistant Minister for the Public Service, Assistant Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations and The Honourable John Carey BA MLA, Minister for Planning and Lands; Housing and Works; Health Infrastructure.
Bringing together St George’s Anglican Grammar School, the AngliSchools Language College and Head Office, AngliSchools House provides contemporary teaching, learning and workplace spaces designed to support the organisation well into the future.

Planning and development continued for St Matthew’s Anglican School in Yanchep, AngliSchools 17th school, which will open in Term 1, 2027.
Significant civil works, including the removal of almost half a million cubic metres of sand, were completed in February 2026. Stage One construction is well underway and will provide facilities for Kindergarten to Year 6, playgrounds, sports courts, general learning areas for Year 7 from 2028, initial specialist secondary learning areas, the main oval and associated infrastructure.
Enrolment interest is strong, reflecting the need for accessible, values-led education in this growing community.
All Saints Anglican School, Shepparton, Victoria, which opened in 2024, also continued to grow. Stage 2A was completed at the end of 2025, providing an additional 12 classrooms. Stage 2B commenced in March 2026 and will provide seven secondary specialist learning areas for 2027. Planning has also commenced for Stage 3A, which will provide further classrooms and staff, meeting, amenity and collaboration spaces to support ongoing enrolment growth.
Together, these projects reflect AngliSchools commitment to providing contemporary, fit-for-purpose facilities that support learning, wellbeing, community and growth.

The Trade Centre was completed, providing facilities for metalwork, woodwork, automotive, and design and technology.

Middle School change rooms and a Grounds and Maintenance Facility were completed, updating facilities originally designed for a smaller enrolment.

The Thistle Block was completed, comprising a café, dining hall, food technology space and classrooms.

The Collaboration and Creativity Centre was completed, including classrooms, specialist rooms, a library, staff room, administrative offices, amenities and an amphitheatre.

Three additional classrooms were completed for the commencement of Term 1, 2026.

The Performing Arts Centre was completed as the third and final building of the Trinity Towards Tomorrow project. This project was our largest capital work in an existing school, other than a new school build.
A significant program of capital works was approved, progressed and completed across AngliSchools during the year, supporting enrolment growth, contemporary learning and the renewal of school facilities.
A new Middle School building was approved, comprising five classrooms, staff offices and verandahs and will allow the removal of demountable buildings.
Approval was given for the construction of eight classrooms, collaborative breakout space, two science laboratories, staff offices, meeting rooms, student and staff amenities, and the removal of demountable buildings.
Stage 2 of the Halls Head Campus was approved, providing four additional classrooms to support enrolment growth and the development of a two-stream primary school.

An extension of the existing Year 5 and 6 building at the Meadow Springs Campus was also approved, providing two additional general learning areas to accommodate a third stream in each cohort and connect with existing collaboration spaces.
A new Year 7 Hub was approved, providing six general learning areas, amenities, breakout spaces and staff offices to support the growth of the School as a five-stream secondary school, with capacity for a future sixth stream if required. Covered sports courts, storage and dry change rooms were also approved to relieve pressure on existing facilities and provide greater weather protection for students.

Construction continued on a three-storey building at the Wellard Campus, incorporating visual arts, music, food technology, textiles and general classrooms. The project also includes the redevelopment of the existing Commons Building into visual art rooms and a staff room. Completion is expected by Term 1, 2027.
Planning for future growth remained a priority.
In late 2024, AngliSchools secured a 12-hectare site in Ballarat, Victoria, for a potential future AngliSchool. In early 2026, a 17.5-hectare site was acquired in Baldivis, Western Australia, also for a potential future school. 33 hectares of land is also held at North Brunswick, north of Bunbury.
These decisions reflect a long-term commitment to serving growing communities and ensuring AngliSchools is well placed to meet future need.
At the same time, the focus remains firmly on strengthening existing schools, supporting current communities and ensuring that growth is carefully planned, financially responsible and aligned with our mission.

Fostering improvement, innovation and systemwide excellence in teaching, learning, operations and technology.
Over the last year, AngliSchools continued to invest in the systems, partnerships and practices that support a growing and future-focused group of schools.
This work has centred on improving the way we operate, strengthening our shared identity, building staff capability, and supporting innovation in teaching and learning.

Project Ascent represents a major step forward in AngliSchools finance and operating model.
The project aims to move AngliSchools from legacy and disparate software systems and processes to more integrated, agile solutions that improve financial and operating performance.
The expected benefits include consolidated finance software, procurement savings and greater operational efficiency. Just as importantly, Project Ascent is intended to free school leaders and staff to focus more time and energy on student, teacher and community outcomes.
The project is preparing for implementation, with the pilot wave scheduled to go live in July 2026.

AngliSchools has commenced a significant payroll transition project, moving from schoolbased processing to a hybrid managed service model through Frontier Payroll Services.
Supported by the AngliSchools Payroll team, this approach will provide a more consistent, efficient and scalable payroll process across the system.
Five AngliSchools and Head Office have already been successfully onboarded, with full implementation scheduled for April 2027.
As a large employer operating across multiple Enterprise Agreements, this project supports greater payroll consistency, compliance, transparency and assurance for staff and schools.
AngliSchools continued to partner with universities to support Initial Teacher Education and strengthen pathways into the teaching profession through the Professional Immersion Program for Educators (PIPE).
PIPE provides pre-service teachers with meaningful AngliSchool-based experience and mentoring, while helping our schools respond to current and future staffing needs.
Now in its third year, the program has placed 64 pre-service teachers with experienced teachermentors across Primary and Secondary settings in ten AngliSchools in Western Australia.
Delivered in partnership with the University of Western Australia and Edith Cowan University, PIPE continues to nurture and develop the next generation of high-calibre educators.
Looking ahead, we are engaging with Charles Sturt University and La Trobe University to explore opportunities to extend the PIPE Program to AngliSchools in Victoria and New South Wales.
AngliSchools engagement with the University of Melbourne’s Assessment Research Centre and Melbourne Metrics continued to strengthen in 2025, supporting schools to explore new approaches to assessment, recognition and learner credentials.
Through the New Metrics for Success project, educators are working alongside leading researchers to consider how complex learner competencies can be identified, assessed and recognised.
Swan Valley Anglican Community School, John Wollaston Anglican Community School and Frederick Irwin Anglican School are among a select group of national ‘first mover’ schools involved in the project.
This work also extends to Cathedral College Wangaratta, Peter Carnley Anglican Community School and St Mark’s Anglican Community School through their involvement in the Melbourne Assessment Community.
Swan Valley Anglican Community School was recognised in 2025 for its creative and innovative leadership, receiving two prestigious national awards: These awards celebrate the School’s role in shaping new approaches to learning, assessment and student success

During 2025, AngliSchools undertook extensive consultation with more than 150 stakeholders across all 16 schools to inform the development of the Technology Roadmap 2030. The consultation confirmed both existing strengths and key areas for improvement across infrastructure, cybersecurity, procurement, interoperability, digital capability and system-wide governance.
Aligned with Strategy 2030 and supporting the long-term success of Project Ascent, the Roadmap provides a five-year strategic pathway to build a secure, cloud-first, equitable and future-ready digital ecosystem. Structured around five key themes - infrastructure modernisation, digital learning, cybersecurity, innovation and workforce capability - the Roadmap will position technology as an enabler of educational excellence, operational efficiency, sustainability and stronger system-wide support for schools.

The AngliSchools Generative Artificial Intelligence Framework was developed in collaboration with representatives from across our schools and is a key initiative in supporting innovation and future-focused learning.
The Framework provides guidance for schools as they consider how to integrate Generative AI in ways that align with AngliSchools Mission, Vision and Values.
A suite of supporting resources has also been developed, including a Generative AI Position Statement, Generative AI Teacher Quick Guide and Student Use Table.
To further build collective capacity, the AngliSchools Generative AI Network has been established to support professional practice, share learning and strengthen innovation across our schools.
Strategy 2030 adopted by the AngliSchools Board.

Risk, compliance and WHS systems strengthened.
Ongoing focus on Child Safety Framework.
Streamlining oversight, accountability and compliance to strengthen existing schools and growing new AngliSchools.
Strong governance and careful planning are essential to the ongoing sustainability of AngliSchools. As the system continues to grow, focus remains on strengthening the structures, systems and shared frameworks that support clear oversight, strong accountability, and confident decision-making across Head Office and schools.
The finalisation of Strategy 2030 significant achievements of the past year for AngliSchools.
Adopted by the Board on 15 December 2025, the Strategy establishes a shared roadmap for the next five years. For the first time, all AngliSchools will align their individual strategic plans with this system-wide framework, enabling greater consistency of direction across a diverse and growing network of schools.
Built around five Core Domains, planning, reporting, decision-making, and accountability in the years ahead.
AngliSchools has advanced the development of a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan, building on existing practices to further strengthen preparedness and consistency across the group. This work includes enhancing protocols for incident response, recovery and communication in the event of technology or cybersecurity disruptions, alongside ongoing improvements to system resilience and staff awareness. Together, these measures support a coordinated approach to managing risk and ensuring continuity of learning and operations.

A continued focus has been placed on strengthening Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) across all campuses. In addition to annual school self-assessments, a formal WHS audit process was introduced to provide an extra layer of oversight and assurance. This supports safer environments for students, staff and visitors, while assisting schools to identify and prioritise areas for improvement.
System-wide WHS data is also being used to inform a more risk-based approach to planning, enabling AngliSchools to respond to emerging issues and refine its WHS strategy where required.

Work commenced on implementing specialised risk management software across Head Office and all schools. Once fully embedded, this will improve visibility of both system-wide and individual school risks, strengthen reporting capability, and support more consistent risk management practices across the group.
Child safety remained a central priority, with ongoing review and further development of the comprehensive Child Safety Framework across all schools.
Specialised annual professional learning was further enhanced and delivered for the Board, staff and School Councils, with a focus on mandatory reporting obligations.

In 2025, AngliSchools continued to support both its existing schools and future growth opportunities. This included planning for St Matthew’s Anglican School in Yanchep and exploring additional sites for future schools.
As AngliSchools expands, succession planning for governance and leadership roles will remain a key focus. Ensuring capability, continuity, and strong oversight across the Board, School Councils, Head Office, and individual schools will be critical to strengthening current operations while enabling sustainable future growth.
Together, these initiatives support greater transparency, stronger assurance and more effective planning across the system.
AngliSchools is governed by a dedicated and highly skilled Board, with a balance of longer serving and newer members. Board members bring a diverse set of skills, including experience in the Anglican Church, finance, schools/education, law, business, industry, corporate and not-for-profit governance. This ensures the highest level of scrutiny is given to matters of governance.
