A Voyage to Remember By Barbara Evans
I had been wanting to go to Antarctica for some years, so when friends returned in late January and spoke about their spectacular trip, I went home, got online and within 24 hours had impulsively booked both the next Antarctic trip on the Greg Mortimer cruise ship and the necessary air flights to get to the tip of South America! Most other passengers had booked two years earlier to get on that trip. I flew out of Melbourne on 14 March, arriving in Ushuaia, Argentina, after about 30 hours of exhausting travel – on the morning the ship departed. I had made it! Community Houses are for Everyone
