Sound Doctor Celebrates Two Years By Andi Lawson-Moore
It’s hard to be believe but local group The Sound Doctor Presents recently celebrated two years of bringing music to Anglesea – and in incredible style, with two international artists gracing the Memorial Hall stage last month. Started by a group of music lovers from Aireys Inlet keen to bring quality music to the Surf Coast, the first Sound Doctor Presents concert in May 2017 featured Irish songstress Lisa Hannigan. Since then, Anglesea Memorial Hall has seen performances from the likes of Clare Bowditch, Jen Cloher, All Our Community Houses are for Everyone
Exes Live in Texas and Archie Roach in a sold-out show. Last month, New Zealand’s Tiny Ruins dropped by as they toured the country with their stunning album Olympic Girls, and New York’s Joan as Police Woman included an Anglesea stopover on her first Australian tour in five years.
