The Joy of Giving

With your support, we can continue to provide many children with a lasting memory and a feeling of love which is so often missing from their regular lives. There are many ways to help us. Through donations, volunteering, or fundraising you too can make a difference in the lives of children around the world. Be the change you want to see in the world.

In December 2021, AFH partnered with the Broward Gold Coast Down’s Syndrome Organization to provide 150 children with wrapped toys for Christmas. Ten AFH volunteers participated in this Joy of Giving event that brought so much joy to these children. We look forward to seeing these kids again this year.

Through the years, this event has expanded to a program now called Joy of Giving which encompasses all our activities at the end of the year. Over the past 16 years we have touched over 50,000 children over the holidays by providing them a Christmas party full of fun, games, and food. Each child receives a wrapped toy which volunteers start wrapping months ahead of time.
