In a small farm of a small village in England lives Chanter, a donkey that wants to be a musician, he loves music and one day his farmer says to him: Farmer: You are old, you work a lot and you want to be a musician, so leave the farm and start your travel. Chanter, the donkey: Oh! Thank you very much dear farmer. And he decides to start his travel. When Chanter is walking along the road, he finds a dog. Anciano, the dog: Hello donkey, what’s your name? My name is Anciano Chanter, the donkey: Hello Anciano. I am Chanter. I am a trumpeter, and I am going to Brehem to play the trumpet. Anciano, the dog: Great! I want to go with you, I want to be a musician. Chanter, the donkey: Ok, come with me, and you will see how an orchestra works. Anciano, the dog: Yes, please. I want to see a real orchestra, how many instruments are there? Chanter, the donkey: Anciano, there are a lot of instruments: violins, trumpets, guitars, drums, clarinets, all of them belong to different families: strings, brass, woodwind and percussion. I am going to introduce you all of them. So both go to the city happily, in their way, they listen to the melody of the birds, the horses, the snakes... When they arrive to Brehem, they come into a big house, where all the people of the orchestra practise with the different instruments.
When they come in, there is nobody inside, but they listen to somebody shouting. Anciano, the dog: what is happening? There is nobody here, no pianists, no trumpeters, and no violinists, who is shouting? They come into the room where all the instruments are, and they find the triangles in the middle of the room, followed by the drums, the xylophones, and the maracas, opposite them there are the flutes, the trumpets, the harmonicas and the clarinets, and near them, there are the violins, the harps and the guitars. The different families are having a meeting, they are worried because the old guitar, the one who always is in the concerts is not going to take part in the following actuation: The tambourine: We must act. The guitar, is essential, she has to be in the concert. She is always there. The trumpet: Oh, look, Anciano is there!. Anciano, the dog: What happens here? Why are you so sad guitar? The guitar: I am not playing in the following concert, the guitarist has a new guitar, and he says that I am so old to be in the concert. Anciano, the dog: Ups! We have to do something. The clarinet: Yes, we want to help the guitar, he is so sad. Anciano, the dog: Ok, I have got an idea, here is Chanter, he wants to be a musician, so he can play the guitar. The triangle: Hello Chanter! Do you want to help us? Chanter, the donkey: Yes I want, but I don’t know how to play the guitar. All the instruments: We teach you. So all the instruments spend all the night teaching Chanter to play the guitar, they practise, practise and practise, and Chanter becomes the guitarist of the concert.
