Janet and the witch

Janet and the Witch Janet, is a ten year old girl, who never obeys to her parents. She loves witches with their black clothes, broom and pointed hats. She knows that they exist, for this reason, she wants to know one real one. But her parents don’t let her visit the witch.

One day Janet thinks – Today, the 31st of October I am visiting that witch. I want that she shows me her magic powers.

She doesn’t tell anything to her parents and goes towards the witch house on the 31 st of October, in a cold, autumn, night.

When she arrives to the witch house, she tells Janet: "Hello, my little girl, why are you so pale?"

"Ah," she replied, trembling all over, "I am frightened."

"Why?" asks the old witch.

"I can see a black man, dressing with a dark spotted trousers and a black long sleeve shirt in your kitchen."

"Don’t worry little girl, he is a collier, he is preparing the cooker" she replies.

“Wait a moment, little girl. I am going to prepare you a cup of tea” states the witch.

"Excuse me,” Janet says trembling. “Now I am seeing a man, with polo, wearing shorts and stripped socks."

"That is a sportsman, he is never cold" replies the old woman. “Here I bring you the tea, drink it and you are going to feel better”. The witch says.

When she is starting to drink, she sees another amazing person, that terrifies her. "I see a blood-red man, he is wearing long straight trousers, and a turtleneck shirt, but is all blood covered."

"That is a butcher," replies the old woman.

"But, oh, I am terrified," continue the girl, "look at through your window, please. There is a ghost, he is all white dressed."

"Oh little girl," adds the old woman. "For you I have long waited, and now you are going to give me light."
