A travel to London It is a sunny Saturday morning. Tommy and Sam go to the park to meet their friends. Lucy, Andy and Kim are waiting for them on the big bench. - “What have you got there, Sam?” Andy asks. - “It’s a postcard from my cousin in London. There’s a photo of a castle on the front. It’s called the Tower of London.” Sam says. - “Wow, it looks really old,” Kim says. - “It is old,” Lucy says. “It was built almost a thousand years ago.” - “My cousin says that it is amazing and you can also visit the queen crown and jewels” Sam says. - “Why don’t we go to London?” Andy asks with a smile. - “Tommy has a time machine that can transport us, so let’s go, we can enjoy there”. Lucy says. - “Yes, fantastic. London is the capital of England!” Tommy says.

They come into the robot and when they realise they are in London. When Tommy opens his eyes, he sees that he and his friends are sitting on a wall. A big river flows below them. The river is so wide that large boats are floating by. - “We are on the river Thames” Kim says. - “Look at the bridge,” says Lucy. “It’s huge.”“ - “It is the Tower Bridge” Jelly tells them. “Cars and buses cross the bridge, as well as walkers,” he says. - “Look!” says Andy. “The road across the bridge is moving. It’s opening up to let that big boat go through.” “The children wave at the people on the boat. When the road go back down, they walk across the bridge to visit the Tower of London. - “Be careful” Jely says to the children. “In London you have to look to the right, to see if the cars are coming”.
