Drippy the Raindrop!

Drippy the Raindrop is having fun. He is busy doing his favourite hobby, floating on the ocean. Looking up, he smiles at his friend, Mr. Sun, who is up. As the day wore on, Mr Sun rise higher and higher in the sky. Drippy become hot, very hot. “Today it is not going to rain, I am so hot, it is sunny…” Drippy says.

Suddenly, Drippy notices a cloud moving across the sky.

Drippy says to himself, “That cloud looks nice, I will fly up to it”.

So Drippy, does it and soon he lands on his cloud. There, he meets another raindrop who has a telescope.

“Hello! So you are shipping in for a cruise, eh?”

The other raindrop says. “Call me Captain Salty.

What’s your name?” he adds.

“I’m Drippy, and I am here because I am so hot…” Drippy says.

“So where you come from Drippy?” asks Captain Salty. “I am from the ocean there” she says as she points to the ocean.

“Where is this cloud going to go?” asks Drippy.

“She is sailing over there” the captain says pointing to the north, “Over there it will rain tomorrow. If things get rough, be ready to abandon the ship” After flying a few miles Drippy says surprised: “Oh, what a wonderful view, I want to visit these mountains” “So, if you want, come on, leave the cruise here and there you are going to meet a lot of new friends” Says the captain.

“Oh, thank you dear Captain Salty, thank you for your kindness”, said Drippy, “Good journey for you” he adds as he jumps to the mountains.

When he arrives to the mountains, he finds his friend the wind, blowing and blowing all the branches of the mountains.

“Hello Mr. wind, how are you?” he says.

“Oh, Drippy, I am so worried, tomorrow the thunders are going to act in the north, there will be a terrible storm” the wind says.

“Oh, no it can’t happen! We are in summer” Drippy shouts “There are going to be my friend the Captain Salty and I have to help him. What can I do?

“I am sure that the storm will be tomorrow” Mr. wind said “The friends of the east and the west told it to me yesterday” “Can you bring me blowing and blowing to the north?” Drippy asked “Captain Salty and the other clouds will have problems, and I want to help them”.

So Mr. Wind blowing leads Drippy to the north, travelling through places where the flowers grow, because it is spring, others in which the leaves are down, because it is autumn and finally they arrive to the north and there is snow everywhere because it is winter. When he arrives there, Drippy finds Captain Salty’s cloud again, and jumps into it. “Hello Mr Salty, I am here to help you. Tomorrow will rain near here and a lot of thunders will come”.

“I don’t know what to do, all my raindrops are tired, they are day and night travelling” he says worried.

“So, I will help you, my friend the wind is going to blow us and he will not let the thunders to destroy our cloud” Drippy says.

“Oh, thank you, dear Drippy, you are a really friend”.
