Anne’s dream In a small village of Europe, lives Anne, with her parents and two sisters, they are very poor and they never travel. This is Anne’s dream, to visit the different continents that exist, learn more things about: America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Antarctica.
One night, she realises that someone touches her, as she is sleeping. -‘Anne, Anne’, the voice says. -‘Eeeee’ shouts Anne frightened, in front of her there is a small gnome. - ‘Hello Anne, I am Jacky, the oldest gnome of Africa, don’t worry, I am not going to hurt you’. - ‘What do you want of me Mr Jacky?’ asks Anne ‘I am from Europe and I don’t have any money, we are very poor’. She says sad. - ‘Don’t worry Anne, I know it. I know that you are very poor, but do you want to travel?’ he asks. - ‘Oooooooo, why do you know it Mr Jacky? This is my dream!’ says Anne surprised. - ‘I know a lot of things little Anne and I want you to be happy, so come with me’ states the gnome. - ‘But tomorrow I have to go to school Mr Jacky, tomorrow is Tuesday’. She says worried. ‘Don’t worry little Anne, come with me, at 8 o’clock you are here again’. He says with his hand on his heart’. ‘I promise it to you’. Then Anne gives her hand to the gnome and they go inside a helicopter that is parked on Anne’s bed. - ‘This is Anne, Hely’ says the gnome to the helicopter. ‘She wants to travel with us’. - ‘Hello Anne’, says a robot’s voice ‘nice to meet you’.
- ‘Hi Hely’ says Anne surprised. ‘Nice to meet you’. - ‘What do you want to visit first dear Anne?’ Asks the gnome. - ‘I don’t know’, she says as she thinks for a little, ‘I want to visit…. Africa’ she says suddenly. - ‘So, come on Hely. We want to visit Africa.’ - ‘Just one second Jacky’ our travel starts. Suddenly the helicopter starts to move and Anne looks through the window. Her house start to become small and small and when she realises they are travelling through the sky. ‘Ooooooo, what a fantastic view’, she says surprised. ‘What is that big thing blue?’ she asks to the gnome. - This is the Atlantic Ocean; it is between America and Africa and Europe. - This is Africa, it is a big country, there are a lot of deserts, jungles, markets and amazing animals. - ‘Oooooo, fantastic’. Says Anne as she looks at the incredible views. - Do you want to visit Asia now, Anne? Hely asks. - Yes please I want to visit it! She Answers happily. - ‘Look at through the window now, dear Anne’, says the gnome. ‘That big thing blue that you can see is the Indian Ocean’. - ‘Oooooo, it is also very big’ Anne says. - ‘We are in Asia’ States Hely. ‘Here there are a lot of things to visit, such as: The Taj Mahal, and countries like: China, Malasya, India, Dubai, Hong Kong… Chinese people are very friendly.’ - ‘Now I want to visit Australia Hely. This is another continent, isn’t it?’ Anne asks to the gnome. - ‘Yes Anne, in Australia we can find amazing animals such as the kangaroos and the koalas, there are a lot of forests there’. The gnome says.
- ‘What time is it Hely?’ Anne asks. - ‘It is half past six. It’s late, so we go to the last continent, America, and later we will leave you in Europe’. Hely says. - ‘Look Anne, this is another ocean ‘The Pacific’, it is between Asia and Australia and America’. The gnome says, looking through the window. ‘And that is America’. - ‘Oooo, it is very big, Mr. Jacky!’ Says Anne with her mouth opened. - ‘Yes it is divided into North America and South America, little Anne, there are a lot of high mountains and landscapes in America. But we don’t have enough time to look at them. Now we are going to Europe’. The gnome said. ‘This is my continent Mr Jacky, there are also lots of things to visit there, we have a lot of mountains, castles, beaches…’ ‘I know it dear Anne, Europe is fantastic’ The gnome says ‘Come on, Hely it’s time to school’ he shouted. ‘Go fast’ ‘Thank you Mr Jackie’ Anne says, ‘I want to travel more with you, I have learnt lots of things, thank you!’ Anne says. ‘Goodbye Hely’. She says as she leaves the plane. ‘Goodbye Anne’ Say the gnome and Jackie ‘Goodbye’.
