The groups included eco representatives from Bramhall Methodists Church, St Michael’s Church and United Reform Church. Also present were Friends of Carr Wood, Friends of Bramhall park, Friends of Happy Valley, Bramhall in Bloom, Women’s institute and Sustainable Bramhall.

The Climate Coalition’s partners include WWF, RSPB, National trust, Women’s institute, Fair trade foundation and Manchester United foundation.

In the long term we would like to help to make Bramhall a more sustainable and environmentally conscious community. We would love Bramhall to work together and to be known as the “Green Village”. Where nature is thriving and given space to thrive, where we can work and live sustainably. To begin with we decided to see what we could do for the ‘Climate Coalition’s’ Great Big Green week from 24th September to 2nd October. We hope you will want to get involved with your group family or as an individual.
