Welcome to SE23

How wonderful it has been to be able to pop out to the shops and buy a card. Or visit your local cafe and drink out of a “proper” cup! As well as the shops, I was delighted to get my hair cut and coloured too! I hope that all the businesses who have recently opened are enjoying the support of the local community. It has been heartening for me to have so many new customers too, so I thank you for supporting my magazines. The only way I can support the community and promote all the wonderful local events, is by the advertising I take. This means I can bring you news of the virtual Dulwich Festival which we all look forward to so much. Check out the centre pages (18 & 19) for details of what is planned. Our events pages start on page 6 this month with seven full pages of online events you can “go” to. I am hoping that from next month onwards, I will be bringing you more events that you can attend in person. The noticeboard is back! Unfortunately I had to suspend it during most of the last year, but I am glad I now have some notices for you on p30. The Last Word this month goes to Francesca Kastelanides who owns Beam Academy. They teach yoga and mindfulness in schools and nurseries. Find out more on page 32.
