Al Molinillo
The restaurant design is inspired by the traditional Mexican whisk called 'molinillo'.Itishandmadeout of a single piece of alder wood block, shaped by carving, turning, sanding and burning.
The Molinillo is traditionally used for foaming hot cholate in Mexico, families and friends gather around and celebrate moments together. Thedesignerhasselectedthe whisk as it is truly an inspirational part of the Mexicanculture.
Design
The loose rings became the main feature of the architectural elements of he restaurant, as well as embracing the natural beauty of locally sourced timber for themainmaterials.
