Stunning handcrafted furniture, unique to you HANDMADE KITCHENS

I BATHROOMS I BEDROOMS I FURNITURE

The best furniture creator you’ve never heard of... Tenacity Interiors’ beautiful, handcrafted furniture and fitted cabinets can be found in glamorous locations in London and New York – as well as in homes across East Anglia. But you won’t see our adverts in interiors magazines or walk past our showroom on your high street. We have built our reputation through recommendation – a result of the thought, design and master craftsmanship we put into every item we create.

We’ve been specialising in bespoke furniture since 2002 and we treat each client and product with care, using the best available materials and going the extra mile to provide outstanding customer service. Each project is unique – we design and produce fitted and freestanding furniture to blend ideally with your property and we also listen carefully to client briefs and take into account lifestyle considerations. Founders Karl Andrews and Trevor Pragg are traditionally trained cabinetmakers, and their skills lie at the heart of Tenacity’s ethos: excellence in both style and build quality. Private clients, interior design professionals and property developers have all benefited from Tenacity’s approach to furniture design and construction – this brochure presents a showcase of some of our work from kitchens to bedrooms to individual furniture commissions.

Every detail matters

Our purpose is perfection The very word “tenacity” means having a strength of purpose. We pride ourselves on really getting to know our clients, whatever the size and nature of the project – from an elevator in a glamorous apartment to a family kitchen at the heart of a private home. Whether you’re an individual, an interior designer or an architect, we’ll visit your site and talk to you about what you really need from our furniture.

We’ll survey the space and try to get to know as much as we can about your lifestyle, any special considerations and of course your taste. We’ll see how the space in your home works – or how you wish it to work in a new house – and really get a good feel for what you want to achieve. Our drawings also include suggested materials and full costs, so we can match our customers’ expectations. We’re always open to revising the materials we propose if budgets need to be adjusted and we’re committed to using sustainably sourced materials. Tenacity stands out because we’re truly clientled: we aim to get things right first time, but we’ll always get in touch a few months after a job and visit clients again to fine-tune elements such as doors and hinges. However, we’re also different because you won’t find our furniture in a showroom. We don’t advertise and we don’t have a high-street presence – and this means our prices can be genuinely competitive. We’d rather be really good at what we do than spend money on advertising or property.

Many furniture companies use the word “bespoke”, but few truly offer such a service. Once we know what our clients want, we encourage you to visit us at our workshop, where not only can we provide material samples to take away (in order that you can match tiles, worktops, flooring etc) but also see our traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail for yourself on other clients’ projects and in our back catalogue. We also have our own spray shop so all our staining, lacquering and finishing can be done in-house.

Over the years, we’ve forged strong relationships with suppliers of materials throughout the timber industry and in other areas such as glass, metal fabrication and upholstery. Our interior-designer clients are often quite specific, and we will go out of our way to source the requested materials so that the finished project is exactly as imagined. Of course, we have an eye on the latest design trends, but our focus is always on what works for the client. This is what “bespoke” means to us – making sure the furniture we create meets your exact requirements. If we’re making you a kitchen but you have already sourced your own worktops, for example, we won’t insist you use ours. You may already use a trusted fitter, so again we’ll work with you and not demand to fit furniture ourselves if that’s not what you want. And it’s this commitment to client needs that has made us the go-to contractor for interior designers’ high-end luxury living projects.

Transforming your space We firmly believe our kitchens, bedrooms, vanity units and items of furniture will enhance your home or interior-design project, because we’ll work hard to make sure it meets your brief and fits into your lifestyle. Our reputation comes from recommendations, but those recommendations only happen because we believe in listening to our clients and working together to create the highest quality furniture from the most suitable materials.
