Nagoya University Civil Engineering alumni organized a research forum and information session on “Civil Engineers at the Forefront of Infrastructure Development” on May 26, 2018 at De La Salle University, Manila. Prof. Hikaru Nakamura, Head of the Concrete Laboratory, Dept. of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Nagoya University, Japan. Engr delivered a keynote lecture on “Crack Propagation due to Rebar Corrosion and Nondestructive Tests to Detect the Crack” and shared information on “Nagoya University Forefront Studies Program on CEE Towards Co-Development of Asia and Japan (Master & Doctoral Degrees).” The forum featured the researches of the alumni and researchers from Nagoya University: Video: A Tour of Nagoya University and Nagoya City – Rodolfo Mendoza, D.Eng, Nagoya University Effective use of dredged soil for the infrastructure development of Subic Bay - Jomel M.
