Nestled within the floating art installation Salmon Eye and framed by the majestic Hardangerfjord in Norway, the Michelin-starred Restaurant Iris invites guests on a culinary journey unlike any other. The restaurant’s interior, crafted by Norm Architects, contrasts and complements the ellipsoid exterior structure designed by Kvorning Design. The lounge area, with its rounded carpets and congregation of Margas lounge chairs by Louise Liljencrantz, serves as a warm and inviting prelude to the dining experience.

Margas LC2 Louise Liljencrantz | 2022 Named after her beloved grandmother, Marga von Dardel, who Liljencrantz credits as the biggest role model in her life, this elegant lounge chair introduces a soft, organic element to interiors.

Located in a former industrial building in central Copenhagen, Ambra offers a refined yet relaxed take on casual Italian dining. Designed by Space Copenhagen in collaboration with chef Andreas Bagh, the restaurant captures the spirit of Italian tradition through a distinctly Scandinavian lens.

Warm, tactile materials establish an atmospheric and inviting ambience that provides guests with a calm setting for shared meals. Designed specifically for this project, the striking presence of the Bella chandelier brings a heightened sense of opulence to the dining experience.

Bella SC115 Space Copenhagen | 2026 Referencing the contours of a four-leaf clover, the Bella chandelier by Space Copenhagen embodies a new exploration of shape and scale in contemporary lighting. Drawing inspiration from Japanese paper lanterns, the design maintains a sense of visual weightlessness.

Blending traditional French cuisine with a modern Nordic influence, Esmée is a restaurant where dining becomes a social celebration.

Located on Kongens Nytorv in the centre of Copenhagen, the restaurant’s interior was designed by Space Copenhagen and centres their Loafer dining chairs for &Tradition, combining a classic brasserie aesthetic with pale tones, natural materials and lush greenery to create an environment akin to a lively, urban orangery.

Loafer SC24 Space Copenhagen | 2019 Originally brought to life as a piece of furniture that could create a sense of intimacy in an open space, the Loafer dining chair by Space Copenhagen is defined by its elegant contours and plush upholstery.

Bobe is a contemporary restaurant and wine bar offering seasonal, locally-sourced food in the cobbled city centre of Copenhagen. The warm simplicity of the restaurant and its thoughtfully curated menu also reflects a dedication that extends beyond the plate. Poised for guests to enjoy an al fresco lunch or afternoon aperitivo, the outside terrace is populated by a selection of chairs and tables from Space Copenhagen’s Thorvald series, creating a convivial space to take in the historic surroundings.

The steel frame juxtaposes the lightness of the grid structure, adding agility to the stackable armchair and allowing for easy placement in both nature and urban settings.

In the centre of Taipei, Ochre Grill & Bar beckons with its inviting yet vibrant atmosphere.

Yellow tiles and stainless steel adorn the facade, while soft seating and terracotta floors establish a cosy ambience inside. A selection of lighting designs by &Tradition cast a warm glow throughout, complemented by wooden panelling, café curtains and accents of blue and yellow that create a tangible mood and feeling of intimacy amongst guests.

Montera JH42 Jaime Hayon | 2024 The Montera table lamp by Jaime Hayon blends past and present in one distinct form. Paying homage to the heritage of Spain, both Montera’s name and silhouette derive from the bullfighting hat of the iconic Matador.

Tabata LN10 Luca Nichetto | 2022 Blending an industrial aesthetic with a playful approach to colour, the Tabata lamp by Luca Nichetto represents the interplay between form and character. Residing within the interior of Hotel Bella Grande in Copenhagen, restaurant Donna brings a distinct opulence and generous hospitality to the city. Designed by Tonen Agency, the space embodies the attitude of Italian culture and cuisine through its bold colour palette and use of materials. Intimate dining spaces are situated around a central, light-filled atrium where guests can enjoy a cocktail or leisurely dinner from the comfort of Space Copenhagen's Loafer chairs.

An innovative farm-to-table restaurant that emphasises the connection between nature and cuisine, Sower is located in the picturesque town of Nagahama in Shiga, Japan. Overlooking the serene waters of Lake Biwa, the dining room is understated and calm, defined by a natural warmth imparted by the Drawn chairs by Hvidt & Mølgaard. This pared-back material palette mirrors the philosophy behind the food at Sower – which centres on essential ingredients, seasonality, and a deep respect for the surrounding land.

Founded in 1904, Aigli Zappeiou has long been a cultural and gastronomic landmark in Athens.

Overlooking the Acropolis and the National Garden, its restaurant offers a refined dining experience that fuses international cuisine with modern flavours. The thoughtfully designed setting invites guests to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal while taking in the stunning views of the Acropolis. On the restaurant’s sunlit terrace, the Thorvald collection by Space Copenhagen echoes the neoclassical features of the nearby Zappeion Hall.

A Japanese restaurant with Danish roots, Sticks’n’Sushi is celebrated for its inventive menu of sushi and grilled dishes. With locations across Europe, each restaurant is designed to capture the unique spirit of its surrounding neighbourhood. For the Battersea Power Station location in London, OEO Studio was enlisted to craft a space that marries the rich heritage of the Power Station with a contemporary edge.

To realise its vision, the studio incorporated a selection of designs from Robin Day's RFH terrace collection.

RFH Terrace Chair RD4 Robin Day | 1951 The RFH Terrace Chair was originally designed to complement the outdoor terrace of London’s Royal Festival Hall in 1951. Small in proportion and decidedly simple in construction, the chair is crafted from a combination of teak slats and a solid steel frame.

A contemporary restaurant in the historical town of Burgos in northern Spain, La Fabrica offers a modern dining experience that captures the spirit of both Spanish and international cuisine. Serving a menu inspired by the seasons and produce available at the time, the restaurant has become recognised for its flavour-forward approach to fine dining.

With walnut paneling and vivid blue accents throughout, the restaurant’s sleek minimalism is enriched by the presence of Hvidt & Mølgaard’s Drawn chairs. Adding an additional touch of materiality to the space, Como lamps by Space Copenhagen accentuate a feeling of intimacy amongst diners during evening service.

Drawing parallels to the concept of old meets new embedded within the identity of Petra Hotel, Petra Bar & Restaurant explores the crossroads between Danish produce and the culinary playing fields of the international food landscape.

A place where all are invited to dine and unwind, Petra Bar & Restaurant has been designed with the same attention to detail witnessed throughout the hotel. Serving a seasonal menu from breakfast until dinner with an expertly paired selection of drinks to choose from, there’s a seat at the table for hotel guests, food and drink lovers alike.

Massif AV40 Anderssen & Voll | 2024 A graphically striking design with an anchoring sense of stability, the Massif bar and counter stools denote a totemic silhouette in a compact form.

Nestled at the end of a quiet Bukchon alley in Seoul, The Waterhouse reimagines a traditional Korean hanok as a serene dwelling. The 89m² house is orientated around a tranquil inner courtyard that provides an anchoring sense of spatial clarity.

Rather than erasing the past, the original structure, including slanted century-old pillars, has been preserved. A combination of subtle architectural changes and a selection of classic and contemporary designs from &Tradition placed throughout bring the space into the modern realm.

The Modernist, cubically-configured Langelinie Pavilion was built by architects Eva and Nils Koppel in the 1950s, located only a stone’s throw from the iconic Little Mermaid statue on Copenhagen’s waterfront. The structure replaces two preceding, now demolished, pavilions, the first inaugurated during the mid-1880s and the second in the early 1900s. Surrounded by a swathe of water and an expansive skyline, the outdoor terrace has been designed by the &Tradition team to include pieces from both the Thorvald and Ville collections.

Danish design studio, Space Copenhagen, was commissioned to transform FC Midtjylland Football Club’s Premium Lounge into a setting that channels the powerful and dynamic energy of the club and provides people with a space to gather and celebrate. With a particular focus on incorporating touches of red, black and white – the team colours – the studio sought to balance the strong identity of the club with a decidedly warm and tonally cohesive aesthetic.

On the outskirts of Berlin, the experiential hospitality collective Slowness has established its Flussbad campus. Built at the site of historic Weimar-era river baths, this architectural collaboration between renowned practices Monika Gogl, Arno Brandlhuber, Realace and Dreimeta was conceived as a space for profound encounters.

To encourage meaningful interactions with the natural environment, a curated selection of tables, chairs and benches from the Ville and Thorvald collections has been placed throughout the grounds. Residing on terraces and amongst tall meadow grasses, the two collections not only complement each other, but blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.

Founded in 1946, Politikens Forlag is one of Denmark's largest publishing houses. Part of JP/ Politikens Hus, their headquarters are located in the centre of Copenhagen on Rådhuspladsen.

Located in a Toronto suburb, OAKV is a medical and aesthetic dermatology clinic that seeks to provide a personal and deeply human method of care. With a strong focus on the client experience, Montreal-based studio AtelierCarle conceived a space defined by light, intimacy, and calm with walnut cladding that establishes visual cohesion throughout the clinic. Isole sofa modules are paired with Luca Nichetto’s Lato tables to create a welcoming arrival space where visitors can pause and settle in.

Isole NN1A-NN1G Nendo & Luca Nichetto | 2017 Nendo and Nichetto co-created Isole through a long-distance exchange inspired by Japanese Tanka poetry. For the Polestar office design, Katrien Vernaillen from Interior Blonde transformed the company’s brand values and stripped-back, sleek aesthetic into a refined, performant and future-proof office design. Working in contrast with the warm-toned birch but hand in hand with their minimalist approach, she selected the P376 pendants to hang overheard, and a series of Rely chairs – a range

by Hee Welling which reflects Polestar’s pursuit of circular design.

The original DSB freight terminal at Kalvebod Brygge is from an era where brutalism was a prominent architectural style. A divisive building, it was knocked down and resurrected in 2021 as offices for the private law firm and legal adviser to the Danish government: Poul Schmith / Kammeradvokaten. Today, you’ll find a range of upholstered designs and wood finishes from &Tradition’s collection in a variety of settings.

Gently contrasting with the stark grey tones of the concrete surroundings, these softer materials bring a sense of balance to meeting rooms and create relaxing lounge and dining areas.

Housed in an old school in the Nordvest region of Copenhagen, Mint — a media and entertainment company for children and families — worked with architect Jakob Faaborg and interior designer Karen Toft to revive the aged location into a contemporary office and meeting space. With the remodelling, Jakob Faaborg decided on an industrial approach throughout the inside of the building to contrast the 80s facade, while Karen Toft softened the space with a mix of light and warm undertones used across Louise Liljencrantz's Margas lounge chairs and Hee Welling's Rely swivel armchairs.

In March 2022, CPH:DOX, the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, took over Charlottenborg Kunsthal to showcase some of the best documentary films released throughout the previous year. We worked with the team, alongside Flos and Please Wait to be Seated, to help style the interior. The following year, 2023, marked the 20th anniversary of CPH:DOX. Occupying several iconic viewing houses and theatres across the city, all showings, workshops and talks explored the central theme of ‘Predicting the Past, Rewriting the Future’. Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Schloss Schauenstein has long been a destination for culinary excellence under the vision of Michelinstarred chef Andreas Caminada. In celebration of the restaurant and guest house’s 20th anniversary, the interiors of the 12th-century castle were thoughtfully reimagined by Space Copenhagen.

Through a combination of heritage and contemporary designs, each room serves as a place where guests are invited to savour the cuisine on offer and the sensory experience of the castle.

Space Copenhagen’s Loafer chair is featured throughout in a variety of iterations, alongside the Margas lounge chair by Louise Liljencrantz.

Sitting at an elevation of 1,560m in Val d’Ayas, Italy, Aethos Monterosa is a hotel that places the alpine experience at the centre of every encounter. Designed to integrate with the imposing terrain that surrounds it, the hotel’s architecture and modern construction of concrete, wood, and weathered metal allows it to become one with the rugged landscape.

In contrast to the outside world, the hotel’s interiors offer a warm sense of comfort to those visiting through a selection of &Tradition designs situated throughout. From the Inland sofa by Anderssen & Voll and Hvidt & Mølgaard’s X chairs, to the Develius sofa by Edward van Vliet and the iconic Little Petra chair by Viggo Boesen.
