UPDATE FROM SUMMERSIDE

Dear family members and friends of Andrews of Summerside, We had an amazing December at our home

First, thank you to everyone who visited, donated or volunteered to help with our first-ever Light Up Our Lives Christmas tree event It was a genuine pleasure being a part of something so special to our residents and our community A full list of corporate and community sponsors can be found inside

In addition to Light Up Our Lives, we celebrated the season with a visit from Santa, Christmas crafts, holiday treats and a special Christmas lunch

This month, we will be taking part in a special winter prom, taking part in a public library activity, enjoying coffee socials and making some winter crafts It’s sure to be another funfilled month for our residents.

I hope you all had a great holiday season. Happy 2025!

Shawn is great with our residents We’ve had many kind words from residents about how much they love when Shawn is working He’s friendly, compassionate and a team player We are fortunate to have him at Andrews of Summerside

Shawn started working with us an RCW in 2021 Prior to joining our team, he worked as a PSW in Ontario and briefly as on a mussel boat here in P E I

He said the best part of his day is getting to engage with the residents
