Dear family members and friends of ProTem Memory Care, We had a wonderful September at our homes. Residents took part in some seasonal baking, enjoyed our backyard and early fall activities and also got out to get pumpkins and fall decor during an outing. A couple of our residents will be featured in the Andrews/ProTem Resident Art Show in P.E.I. this week. The show started last year and features art from residents in all five Andrews homes as well as ProTem. Thank you to everyone who submitted art for the event! This month we will celebrate Thanksgiving, take part in October fun and baking as well as Halloween festivities. We even have plans to host some daycare friends again near the end of the month. It should be lots of fun! Wishing you all a great start to October and a happy Thanksgiving! Sincerely,

Jerry O’Rourke ProTem Memory Care
Jerry was born in Springhill, N.S. in 1941. His parents were Vincent and Leota O’Rourke. After high school, Jerry spent time in the Royal Canadian Air Force and Royal Canadian Navy. In addition to his time in the service, he worked for the Federal Department of Transportation. He has been married to Heather O’Rourke since 1966. He has written and self-published a book and from 1974-1989 was a Riverview Town Councilor.
