I enjoyed the youngsters, they were just children in Grade 6 and 7 and I was in my early 20s at that time So, I enjoyed their company and most of them, most of the time, enjoyed their company with Mr Toews

Our Above and Beyond winner for July is Andree Cormier
Andree is a dedicated team member, always willing to help where and when she's needed. We are fortunate to have her at ProTem Memory Care
Andree started working as a PSW at ProTem in 2020 Prior to joining our team, she worked in a similar role at a larger nursing home.
Having worked in larger settings, Andree prefers our small home model of care
"I really get to know the residents here," she said "They become like family. You really feel like you can make a difference "
Outside of work, Andree spends her days camping, hiking, fishing and enjoying quality time with friends and family

FEONA SEERATAN - PROTEM JOINED IN 2023
Our Above and Beyond winner for August is Feona Seeratan
Feona is a dedicated team member who is always willing to help when and where she’s needed.
We are fortunate to have her at ProTem Memory Care
Feona started working as a PSW with us in 2023 Prior to joining our team, she worked in homecare for two years and, before that, spent 20 years working in tech support.
She made the jump to care work during the COVID-19 pandemic and hasn’t looked back
“Being able to offer help and support to the elderly,” she said. “It gives me a sense of purpose. I feel like I’m doing something good for the world ”
When she’s not at work, Feona practices photography, enjoys exercising and spending time with her family
