EVALUATING A PATH AHEAD It's the start of a new year, a time for reflection on the past 12 months — celebrating successes, learning from challenges, and setting exciting goals for the year ahead.

It’s the same in business. As an organization it’s important to take time to understand where you are at any given moment. You can never confidently move ahead of you don’t know where you’re currently standing.

We have a lot to be proud of at Andrews Senior Care. As a team, we accomplished a great deal in 2024. One major highlight was securing the first phase of the Accreditation process. We also added new longterm care beds and made strides toward improving our already exceptional levels of care provided to our residents.

Most recently, all our homes received their full licenses following inspections. This is just one more example of the great things we are capable of as a team.

On the experience side of things, I’d like to congratulate the Andrews of Summerside team for organizing the Light Up Our Lives event this past month. This was an amazing and unique opportunity for our residents and was also a great way to include the community. Events like this, the strawberry socials we held in the summer, the Alzheimer’s walk, the Christmas parade, and our volunteers' dinner, go a long way toward strengthening our connections and showcasing our ongoing commitment to the communities where we operate and live.

As always, our future goals will be shaped by our past successes. 2025 will be filled with new adventures and new opportunities and any victories we have, we have together.

Thank you for your hard work, your commitment and your dedication toward making Andrews Senior Care the first choice for many Island seniors. Happy New Year.

ACTIVE AT PROTEM Our homes enjoyed plenty of festive activities this past month, including light tours, music, dancing and Christmas-themed games.

LIGHT UP OUR LIVES Andrews of Summerside hosted its first-ever Light Up Our Lives Christmas Light event throughout December. We want to extend a special thank you to all the local businesses and community organizations that donated trees.

ELVES VISIT STRATFORD Residents at Andrews of Stratford were treated to a performance by the Grade 2 choir at Glen Stewart Elementary School. The children, led by Santa, sang for the residents and then handed our gifts and handmade cards. Thank you, Glen Stewart Elementary, for such a wonderful Christmas gift!

PARK WEST FUN Children from CHANCES daycare visited with residents. Charlottetown Mayor Philip Brown took some time to visit Park West in December for his annual Christmas Tea.
