Dear family members and friends of ProTem Memory Care,
We had a wonderful July at our homes
We celebrated Canada Day, visited the Mill Creek Nature Park, hosted wine tastings, enjoyed seasonal fruit like strawberries and spent lots of time outdoors
This month we will host our annual family BBQ, enjoy our garden, host spa days, and do some baking!
We hope you ’ re all having a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you at the BBQ later this month!

Alex Sellars
ProTem Memory Care
Alex was born in New Waterford, N S in 1938 His parents were Ernest and Hilda Sellars, both originally from Newfoundland.
He enjoyed a long career in the grocery industry in positions including produce manager and meat inspection.
He married Ruth Sellars in 1961. The couple had five children.
Throughout his life he enjoyed travelling and visited many places including all across Canada, the Grand Canyon, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma as well as others.
In addition to travelling, Alex enjoyed hunting, fishing, hockey, ball and darts.
His favourite type of music is 1950's era like Lawrence Welk, men ’ s quartets, bagpipes and Newfoundland music like jigs.
Alex enjoys most food, but has a special fondness for spice.
As a handyman, one of the things he’s most proud of in his life is helping maintain Hillside Baptist Church.
