GURPREET KAUR : PARK WEST JOINED IN 2023

Our Above and Beyond pick for December is Lorraine Pitre

Lorraine is a dedicated cook, always providing refreshments for her team members We are lucky to have her

Lorraine has been a cook with Andrews of Park West since 2014

Prior to that, she worked as a cook at Andrews of Charlottetown and before that, as a dietary aide with Holland College’s student residence

She said she loves cooking for the residents and especially enjoys baking

“I usually like to make the desserts for the residents,” she said “They love my desserts.”

She added her favourite dessert to make is lemon pie

Outside of work Lorraine keeps busy spending time with her three grandchildren

Our Above and Beyond winner for July is Gurpreet Kaur

Gurpreet is a hard-working, dedicated and passionate team member who is always willing to go above and beyond for our residents and her team members We are so happy to have her as part of Park West

Gurpreet started working as a caregiver at Andrews of Park West in May, 2023. Prior to joining our team, she worked as a PSW in Ontario and, prior to that, as a nurse in her home country of India

For Gurpreet the best part of her day is spending time with our residents

“I like to give them care, ” she said Outside of work, Gurpreet enjoys spending time with her friends and family
