COMMUNICATION, EXPANDING AND FESTIVITIES First off, congratulations to all our team members who marked a significant milestone with Andrews or ProTem in 2026. We held our annual Milestone Dinner on October 23. It was a great opportunity to honour the dedication, passion and professionalism of our teams. Company loyalty, where people spend a majority of not all of their career with one organization, is not nearly aas common as it used to be in previous generations and it’s uplifting to see so many team members mark 10, 15, 20 and more years with us year after year. INFORMATION HUB A decision has been made to move all internal communications, including the Andrews Informer newsletter, onto iTacit. This is effective immediately. Previously, email had been a primary mode of communication but that required considerable upkeep in terms of ensuring emails were updated, emails were not landing in spam folders, adding and removing people manually and cross-referencing admin lists against current email lists. Itacit eliminates those headaches and streamlines communication into one central hub. If you have any issues accessing iTacit, please email Jincy at jmanoj@andrewsseniorcare.com. CHARLOTTETOWN EXPANSION The expansion is moving along and our estimated opening is still January. Primary construction has finished and interior work is progressing. Procuring furniture, beds, medical equipment is underway along with hiring and everything is on track to be finished by the end of November/start of December. Party Time Our annual Christmas party is scheduled for Friday, November 27. The event will be hosted at the Confederation Centre and will be catered. A DJ has been booked and there will be a cash bar. We are extending the invite this year to include team member’s spouses or significant other. A sign up sheet will be posted in your homes this week. The deadline for sign-ups is November 16th. Our party planning committee have been working hard to make this event happen and I look forward to seeing you all there on Nov. 27! I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend and wish you all a wonderful start to November. Sincerely,

Mizan MISSION STATEMENT It is Andrews Senior Care's goal to respect the dignity and autonomy of our residents; to provide a safe and secure environment; to promote involvement of residents and their family by inviting input and feedback related to the care and services we provide; to value the leadership, expertise and contributions of our staff through empowerment that will lead to excellence in service.

She added her secret to a happy and long life was to always eat dessert first!

TEACHABLE MOMENTS CAREGIVERS Training and education are a priority at Andrews. Caregivers undergo 3.5 days of training when they join the Andrews team. Training includes onboarding, policy instruction as well as practical learning. All our training is led by Training Coordinator and RN Jincy Manoj. All Andrews team members undergo training specific to their role when they begin at Andrews. Likewise, additional training is ongoing during team-member’s tenure at Andrews.

HONOURING OUR VETERANS ALL OUR HOMES Andrews Senior Care is privileged to have a number of veterans and Legion members living at our homes. With Remembrance Day approaching we wanted to shine a spotlight on those who served. Lest we forget.
