UPDATE FROM CHARLOTTETOWN

Dear family members and friends of Andrews of Charlottetown,

We had an amazing summer at our home and are looking forward to all the activities we have planned for the coming months

We will be hosting Venture Stables ponies, participating in an Andrews-wide resident art show on September 18 and hosting a family barbecue! We look forward to seeing all our residents and their families It’s going to be a great time!

our resident retired teachers what they enjoyed most about “back to school.”

I enjoyed the youngsters, they were just children in Grade 6 and 7 and I was in my early 20s at that time So, I enjoyed their company and most of them, most of the time, enjoyed their company with Mr Toews

I just liked being with the kids and teaching I liked teaching The hardest thing was remembering who was who I don’t think I ever figured out a trick, (you) just get to know them

The first week with the kids I asked them to tell me their names and I wrote it down. By the end of the day, my goal was to remember all the kids in my classroom. I usually managed to do that.
