Fire Prevention Week October 4-10 “Hear the Beep Where You Sleep: Every Bedroom Needs a Working Smoke Alarm” as theme for 2015 Fire Prevention Week. The Fire department will be at the Library 7 October at 1030 to better educate us on how to minimize the risk and effects of fire and other hazards.

ARCHERY CLASS

For ages 5 and up Learn the basics of archery including fundamentals of shooting form and safety on archery ranges.

We will provide all equipment (bows, arrows, etc.), skilled/experienced instructors, and two-one hour instructional classes. Cost is $30 per person. Classes are held at 1745-1845. Stop by or call ODR for class dates and to register.

22 October | 1600-1800 Join 1 million Americans and 7,500+ communities nationwide in celebrating the afterschool programs that keep our kids safe, inspire them to learn and help working families. Stop by the Youth Center and explore all that the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, USAF & 4-H Programs have to offer.

Every Friday | 1800 Keystone Clubs are chartered small leadership development groups for young people ages 14-18. Keystoners elect officers, choose their own activities 7 November | 1700-2300 | Ages 5-12 and plan and implement community Parents can enjoy a night out, while kids service projects. enjoy a themed night of fun! Deadline to sign-up and pay is 2 November. The cost is $30.

Every Thursday | 1700 Become a part of the JBA-C4 Torch Club; members are a character and leadership group of youth ages 11-13.

Their focus is community service, compassionate, caring and commitment to their club. Torch club members elect officers, plan special events, such as the “Mother Daughter Gala” and initiate community service projects.
