Throughout the week children in the JBA community will design creative art pieces that will later be entered for a silent auction on 29 April.

Children & parents can learn the art of tie-dying at their center. Families in the community are encouraged to share their own creations on FB!

April 8 | College Funding 101 | Education Center | 4-5 P.M. Learn about financial aid, scholarships, and using transferred Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits to fund your higher education.
PURPLE UP WEEK:
Throughout the week youth, parents and staff will engage in activities that offer the opportunity to show off the color purple- the color of MOMC.
April 11 | Writing Your First Resume | Youth Center | 1-2 P.M. An overview of writing a basic résumé for your first job, along with interviewing techniques.
April 11-15 | Teen 4H Babysitting Certification | Youth Center Cost: $30| 9 A.M. - 12 P.M. Familiarize teens with the responsibilities of babysitting and provide the necessary info for teens to become capable, caring, trustworthy and responsible babysitters.
April 12 | Bubble Extravaganza | CDCs/FCC/Youth Center Children will enjoy making bubble creations with wands outdoors.

April 12 | Supporting Your Child Through Deployment Parent Involvement Workshop | Youth Center | 3:30-4:30 P.M. Open to all! Join us for an amazing parent involvement workshop where our Child and Youth MFLCs (Counselors) will give a presentation on Supporting Your Child Through Deployment. (SLO, YP, CYP MFLC collab).
