Imagery Black & White Polaroid Photos The black & white Polaroid photo treatment is used to bring median attention to certain items. In the Trouble in Paradise example, we needed to bring attention to something without allowing the attention to over power other items in the menu. The black & white photo reduces the appeal of the menu item, without preventing the viewer from seeing the uniqueness of the product. Although having a black & white photo among a full color layout can bring attention to the item, the black & white treatment in the food itself allows for just the right amount of disconnect needed to reduce the items enticement, while still featuring it as important. Blackened Ahi Tuna Salad Slices of blackened, rare Ahi tuna, cucumber, red peppers, and Mandarin oranges atop a bed of mixed greens. Tossed with spicy wasabi vinaigrette and garnished with black and white sesame seeds. 19.95
