A Landscape Brainstorm Marathefti Architects Studio

During my time at Marathefti Architects Studio, I experienced a small architecture office’s culture and understand how to work well in a group. The studio utilizes AutoCAD, Photoshop, Rhino & V-ray software. As an intern architectural assistant, I was mostly given tasks to work on AutoCAD & Photoshop, and I was able to sharpen my technical drawing skills.

One of the tasks I was given was to brainstorm potential site development ideas for a residential project. My work would be used as inspiration for the lead architect. I was given a 5-day deadline to complete this task.

The design I came up with included an assortment of residential building towers that formed an inviting communal space overlooking the main street, leading into a more private space at the back end of the site. A platform was also designed to provide a much-needed shade to the rough Cyprus climate, as well as a completely private space for the residents, physically connecting all residential buildings.
