Architecture for play Thesis work 2020 - 1 The project starts as a response to the vulnerability of the children in the Siete de Agosto neighborhood. The lack of safe spaces where they can express themselves freely and the abcence of their parents attention expose them to all the dangers of the automotive industry. According to that, the objective was to create spaces of collective and private nature, where play would be encouraged and where children would be involved in a different way with the automotive context of the sector. For this, was planned an urban approach in which
the idea was to use the areas that were not built to generate safe spaces for play. Also was important to make it possible for the people to gather within eachother from different communities and find complementary activities for adults, teens and children. Additionally, the project proposed individual game modules that were developed in the form of urban prosthetics, which were attached to the facades or interior walls to use the wasted space, in order to allow children to have a safe space they feel like themselves.

School - Park La Mariposa Team : Andrea Daniela Ávila Ramírez | Valeria Abello | Michelle Cortés | Pedro Felipe Martínez School - Park is a project that was planned to respond to the learning obtained through participatory work with social leaders in the neighborhoods of Santa Cecilia and Cerro Norte, in the Northeast of Bogotá. The main objective of this was to provide a safe space for children in the sector to prevent them from falling into the world of drugs. To achive this goal, we proposed to create a path into one of the green areas most
neglected by the community, which allow different activities that would enhance the main axis of the neighborhood, generating greater circulation for adults and the youth. For this, in addition to the use of guadua paths, surveillance points, milestones, and complementary spaces were designed. That would activate the linear park and ensure constant use throughout the week.

Renovation of the CUAN building Team: Andrea Daniela Ávila Ramírez | Daniel Andrés Garzón
This project sought to modify the spatiality of the buildings of the Antonio Nariño Urban Center (CUAN) by modifying the façade and moving the housing module on some floors to the opposite side of the façade in order to generate rhythm and play with the circulations, views and light. The façade was made with a single ceramic piece that could create different
environments depending on how it was assembled. It allowed us to create two different forms of composition, generating different qualities of spaces. The living spaces had a more closed modulation to generate a sense of privacy, while the social areas, which were triple height, had a more open and dynamic façade.

Human Pavilion
Competition
Team: Andrea Daniela Ávila Ramírez | Daniel Garzon | Sebastian Guerrero | Carlos Mieles Currently negativism and crisis have taken center stage in the world and it is time to return to humanism and recognize our achievements and capabilities as a species. Starting from the fact that man is the only creature capable of transforming, translating and adapting both, the tangible (physical resources) and the non-tangible (Virtuality, ideas and concepts) and abstracting information from there for the creation of new realities. The project seeks to represent our achievements through a global and timeless pavilion that reflects our relationship with the world, and with the new realities that man has been able
to create through the manipulation of the tangible and the non tangible. These realities were interpreted by the use of 3 elements, the outter box, as the physical world, the cloud, as virtual reality and the sphere, as spiritual reality, which are contained one inside the other, adding a fourth element, the ramp, which is through which all these worlds are connected and the viewer is allowed to have a complete experience through them. The pavilion of humanity does not have a specific location and is timeless, as it must allow to move through the different cultures that enrich our species.
