M for Modern Game. Any rules or parts of the modern game you dislike? second rule for keepers keepers hold it for much longer than that.

N is for night time; what is your perfect evening? Night out or Night in? Out – Out with the lads on the beers!

S for School. Were you any good at anything apart from Football? Geography. Got my only A in geography, I got a U in Technology as I just spent the time pinging rubbers at other people during the exam.

O is for operation. Have you ever been to hospital? Yes been to hospital with a broken finger, nose, metatarsal and also with my knees.

P is for plank. Which team mate is the weakest link? Lockey – he thinks that Ajax play in the French league.

Quite clever. And who would be your phone a friend? Thomo – smart guy under that beard!

R for retirement. What would you like to do after playing? Coach the younger generation and play more golf.

T for talent. Apart from football which sport do you rate yourself at? Apart from golf, I’m good at tennis.

U for useless. And any sports you struggle with? Basketball – don’t enjoy that game.

V for voice. Can you cope with public speaking, or would you hate being a best man? I’m not a fan of standing up and speaking in front of people and giving a speech but if I was best man then needs must – especially after a couple of pints! W for words. Last book you read? Denis Bergkamp autobiography - Stillness & Speed.

X for Xtasy. Highlight of your career so far? Winning players player and managers player at Overton in 2015/16.

Y for Young. Any footballing advice for youngsters? You’re only as good as your last game!
