I don't advocate violence of any kind, but I love murder Well, fictional murder. Agatha Christie is my favorite author, I have a guilty pleasure for Hallmark Mystery movies, and Clue is my favorite game. I own about 30 versions of the game so far including the original from yesteryear to Star Wars, Golden Girls, Big Bang Theory, Downton Abbey, Scooby Doo, and Friends. There is a Muppet Clue game coming out soon for anyone who wants to get that one for me. When the Clue movie came out in 1985, it had 3 endings, but which ending you saw depended on the theater you saw it in; I don't remember which ending I saw but I loved it! However, not many people did and it wasn’t until it came to home video where you could see all the endings that it gained a cult following. It also became one the most quoted movies, "Flames, flames on the side of my face" anyone? I always thought there should be a stage version of the movie, and after it finally landed on stage, I’ve wanted to be a part of it ever since, so needless to say, it was a happy day when I was awarded the directorship of AMT's Clue. But I wasn't the only one excited about this show because 47 people auditioned for 14 roles, and numerous others are excited to see it. I was lucky that so many talented people wanted to come out and play Clue This cast and crew is made up of Mainstage regulars, a few returning to AMT after many years away, some new faces to our stage but not to stages elsewhere, and a couple that are new to theatre period I hope you enjoy the vision that has been living in my mind for years. I want to thank the powers that be at AMT for trusting me with this incredible show, my Mainstage family for encouraging me and supporting me, my parents for taking me to
auditions and letting their little boy discover who he was in theatre and in life, Jason and our little fur family for allowing me the time away to pursue what makes me happy, and my Clue actors and crew for bringing this all to life (and murder.) So who killed it? This CAST, on the STAGE, with their TALENT!!!!
BRIAN SHETTERLY, Director
WARNING: Use of flashing lights and gunshots in the show and, of course, murder.
Please keep the aisles clear as actors use the entire theatre for their performance. Thank you for keeping our actors safe!
ENJOY THE SHOW!
