This is Alaina’s first production at Anderson’s Mainstage Theatre. She also dances at the Next Step School of Dance and has been doing so since she was 4.
Allison J Hughel-Cage as Maud Dunlap
A veteran to the AMT stage, you would have last seen Allison as Sylvia in “All Shook Up.” She says some of her hobbies are “theatre, reading, travel when possible, perusing houses she can’t afford on Zillow and hanging out with three of the best sons on the planet (yes, they’re my sons) ”
Andrew Davelaar as Tommy Djilas
Andrew has tap danced and played viola for seven years He is homeschooled alongside his five siblings In his free time he’s playing and growing his shelf of board games, improvising on the viola, and preparing desserts.

Anna Clark as Virginia Djilas
Anna is no stranger to AMT as you’ve seen her in shows like “Sister Act,” and “The Drowsy Chaperone.” She was also seen at our cousins at The Alley Theatre s Lizzie Borden in the world premiere of “Fall River.” he is also serving as the Director of the Kids nsemble. Anna is excited to share the stage with her aughter, Lilly.
Argyle Cantrell as Julian Britt
Argyle is excited to make his AMT debut with “The Music Man.” Argyle loves playing different roles on stage, but he also enjoys dancing, drawing, playing bass, and playing any and all rhythm games.
Bobbi Cantrell as Caroline Britt
Bobbi has been on the AMT stage for shows like “Lend Me a Tenor,” “Cinderalla,” and “Sister Act.” She’s a stay at home mom who says,” “[she] obviously loves theater I also enjoy doing embroidery and am a certified crazy cat lady.” She’s excited to share the stage with her son, Argyle.
Braxton Spence as Winthrop Paroo
Braxton Spence only recently started his journey in musical theater right here at the AMT's Youth Theater Program. Here he first experienced the magic of the stage as Mr. Salt in their production of Wonka Jr. The experience ignited a passion for acting and theater, leading him to secure the role of Winthrop Paroo in his very first audition for a season production. Braxton credits his mother, Kara, for his love of music and singing and worked closely with fellow actor Suzan Dillery in preparation for this role Braxton draws inspiration from Lin Manuel Miranda's Hamilton & Jeremy Jordan's performance in Newsies and hopes to one day perform in these Broadway productions himself.

Bryttnei is one of the dancers from The Next Step School Of Dance in Anderson. She’s been dancing for 30+ plus years. While Brytnnei has graced AMT’s stage before, this is the first show she has done with her son, Brett
C. Leroy Delph II as Olin Britt
Leroy has been an entertainer in some way, shape, manner, or form his entire life. From stage work to band lead singer to dj to The Man In The Red Suit, he has enjoyed it all. He was last seen here at Mainstage as Dr Von Suschocky in Radium Girls. Other favorite roles include JB Biggley in How To Succeed In Business, The Baron in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Ezekiel in White Christmas He'd like to thank his wife for letting him come out to play.
CC Cox as June Hicks
CC is excited for her second show at AMT after performing as Mrs. Teavee in “Willy Wonka Kids” put on my AMT’s “Let’s Play! Youth Program ” CC is in 7th grade and she loves riding horses and hanging out with her sisters.

Cheryl is thrilled to come back to the AMT stage after last being seen as Marie in “Cinderella” and as a Sister in “Sister Act.” Cheryl is doubling as a Music Assistant for this show Enjoys reading, hippos and board games.
Christian Ogle-Short as Xander Jacobs
Christian is super excited to have his AMT debut! He is also excited to be be going into 1st grade. Christian loves monster trucks and spending time with family

Coralin Davelaar as Joy Callahan
Coralin Davelaa, joining the cast as Joy Callahan (a townsperson and Pick-a-little Lady), is excited to share the stage with her husband and six homeschooled children. When it comes to musicals, Coralin Davelaar is typically not seen on the stage, but under it--in the pit orchestra. Coralin plays the cello with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis, and she has performed with various pit orchestras over the years, including The Music Man.

Dave Shetterly as Train Conductor
Dave first became active in theatre while serving in The Army at Ft Campbell Kentucky where he appeared in over a dozen plays including "Norman" in "On Golden Pond" and appeared as an "extra" in two movies (Sweet Dreams and At Close Range) After retiring from The US Army in 1986, Dave had parts in several shows at Anderson Mainstage before job requirements took him away from theatre for several years. After retiring a second time, Dave has again become active in area theatres including Anderson Mainstage where he was last in "Cinderella" and The Alley Theatre where Dave was in "Fall River". Dave is a Frankton native and resides in the Anderson area with his wife, of 54 years, Sharon. Dave is excited to be involved in this classic production and wants to thank the director and all fellow actors for their faith and support in making this adventure possible.
David Whicker as Constable Locke
David is delighted to be back onstage at Anderson’s Mainstage Theatre. He is a retired elementary teacher of 38 years. He thanks Rick for the opportunity to urn home
Donna is happy to return to the AMT stage after appearing in “Cinderella” last year. Donna is retired and enjoys doing theatre full time and owns her own theatre company as well.

Gabriel Porch as Harold Hill
Gabriel Porch is a born and raised Anderson native and has been an active participant at Anderson Mainstage Theatre since 2004. He most recently appeared at Mainstage as the Singing Stormtrooper in The Producers (2022), and also recently appeared as Sean in "Let's Go Out For Dinner," written by local playwright Matthew Foster and debuted at The Alley Theatre. Gabriel and the rest of the original cast reprised their roles a year later at the 2024 "LUV" Short Play Festival in New York City His hobbies include gaming of all sorts, playing the guitar, and getting into all manner of shenanigans with his wife Alaina
GG Cox as Zaneeta Shinn
GG is coming back to the stage after previously playing Ursula in Bye Bye Birdie at Mainstage. She is an incoming senior at APA and is Class President and Salutatorian. She loves working and playing sports. Her favorite thing to do is fight crime in the streets of Gotham.
Gwen Burke as Mrs. Paroo
Gwen Burke is thrilled to be returning to MainStage in her all time favorite show! Gwen has been preparing for this role her entire life, ever since she first saw The Music Man (1962) as a small child. She has spent the meantime playing in the ensemble of All Shook Up at MainStage, the ensemble of Hello, Dolly! at Footlite, and preparing for all of the other roles in the Music Man (just in case) Gwen teaches fifth grade, root root roots for the Red Sox, and spends time with her doggos Gwen would like to thank her husband who had to deal with her during this process and her parents for traveling 1,000 miles for this.

Hannah Davelaar as Amaryllis
Hannah Davelaar, who plays the role of Amaryllis, is excited to be performing with Anderson's MainStage Theater for the first time. Previously playing the roles of Michael and an older student in "Matilda, Jr.", Hannah lives in Fishers and enjoys taking care of her pet rabbit. Starting sixth grade in the fall, Hannah is homeschooled and plays the piano, violin, and flute.
Jennifer Schug as Ethel Toffelmier
Jennifer Schug (Ethel Toffelmier) was last seen at AMT as Kathryn in Radium Girls. You might also have seen her in The Alley Theatre’s recent productions of Fall River, A Christmas Carol, Oedipus Rex, and The Crucible She lives with her children in Pendleton where she is the PHMS French teacher. Jennifer would like to thank her family for helping out with Rosy and Paul during rehearsals Lastly, thank you to her person, Raymond, for loving her.

Jess is a stay at home mom to her three cats and dog And two human children as well! She occasionally uploads song covers to Youtube channel, self-named: "Jess Anderson". Lilly Clark is making her Anderson Mainstage Theater debut on stage with her mom! As a rising Kindergartner, Lilly has appeared in various ballet performances in the Noblesville and Anderson area as part of the En Pointe Indiana ballet youth ensemble and looks forward to many more productions.
Matthew Canaday-Anderson as Theodore Dunlop
Matthew is an 8th grader at Highland in Anderson. This is his second time on stage, having previously been in the ensemble of Mainstage's Cinderella. He enjoys gaming with his friends and spending time with all his pets

Nicholas Davelaar as Roy Callahan
Nicholas is excited to be making his debut on the AMT stage along with all SIX of his children AND wife! He is returning to the stage after one summer during high school, when he played a knight in a community production of “Camelot.” Lancelot killed him. A Pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Indianapolis, he also enjoys playing board games with his children

Noah Davelaar, a 2024 homeschool graduate from Fishers, is having his debut performance on the stage as a salesman and a townsperson Next month he’ll be attending Taylor University and will double major in history and music. Percy Davelaar as John Callahan
Percy Davelaar, entering fourth grade in the fall, is excited to be playing John Callahan in the Kids Ensemble for his debut stage performance. A homeschooler from Fishers, Percy collects sloth stuffed animals, enjoys building Lego creations, and is learning to play the bass.
Rick Vale as Mayor George Shinn
Rick Vale is a retired EQUITY & AGMA actor/singer, originally from Seattle, who now resides in Anderson. He is a published author, playwright, and composer, and a songwriter with songs recorded by artists around the world for the past 25 years. His last "appearance" at MAINSTAGE was as Stage & Music Director of "SISTER ACT: THE MUSICAL". He is serving his 10th Season as Artistic Director of THE ALLEY THEATRE in Anderson, and 17th year as stor of Central Christian Church in Anderson.
Rosy Black as Primrose Toffelmier

Sarah Davelaar as Angeline Callahan
Sarah Davelaar, playing the role of Angeline Callahan in the Kids Ensemble and dance scenes, is joining her parents and five siblings in this production Sarah, who lives in Fishers, is an artistic and creative seventh grader. Because she has taken ballet, jazz, and tap classes for many years, she is very familiar with being on stage and is eager to be part of this production.
Scott McFadden as Marcellus Washburn
Scott is no stranger to the AMT stage, last seen as Lord Pinkleton in “Cinderella.” As an actual librarian, Alaina should keep her eye on her role as Marian since Scott has been preparing for that role for years! When not on stage or sorting books, Scott has published two novels on the Kindle Vella platform, with a third on the way. He also won 3 days on Jeopardy!
Sofia Beck-Stafford as Gracie Shinn
“The Music Man” marks Sofia’s debut stage performance! She is excited to explore where theatre might take her. Sofia will be going into 8th grade and enjoys show choir, piano, and voice lessons

Ted Jacobs as Oliver Hicks
Making his debut performance at AMT, Ted counts Music Man as one of his favorite musical productions. Though he has appeared in many productions over the years, he credits Music Man as being the birthplace of his real love for musical theatre, having played Olin Britt (the bass in the quartet) 37 years ago in high school! Ted’s even played the role of Harold five or six times…he’s hoping to win the role of Eulalie next time! A Chesterton native, Ted lives with his best friend and wife, Shari, his two awesome daughters Rachael and Kara and his best pal Wrigley (and the OTHER two canines Aspen and Piper). Now residing in Indy, Ted retired from teaching English and Theatre two years ago and spends most of his time now remodeling homes and building and designing sets for a few theaters in and around Indy. Ted would like to give a warm shout out to vocal director Julia Bratton who helped celebrate his wedding nearly 28 years ago while she was student minister at Allisonville Christian Church. He’s absolutely thrilled to reconnect with her and wants to thank her for allowing him to be a part of this wonderful show and cast
