The American Library Associa�on announced the 2022 Youth Media Awards, including the Newbery, Caldeco�, and Core�a Sco� King Book Awards. 2022 also marked the 100th anniversary of the Newbery Medal, named for John Newbery, an 18th century English bookseller.
