Hillaire Long selected sleek, modern hard finishes, such as flooring, tile, and a stunning waterfall island, setting the stage for a bold design. Laken Mitchell added the perfect finishing touches, infusing the space with bright colors, playful patterns, and gold accents to bring glamour, warmth, and a sense of femininity to the home. Laken Mitchell completed a primary bathroom renovation for a couple wanting to age in place, ensuring the space was both functional and timeless. By incorporating universal design principles, she created a layout that enhances accessibility while maintaining style. The neutral color palette chosen for the finishes and fixtures provides a serene atmosphere that will stand the test of time, offering a classic, enduring look. The result is a bathroom that not only meets the couple’s current needs but will continue to serve them comfortably for years to come.

This custom-built home features peaceful color tones with playful pops, patterns, and textures throughout.
Interior designer Laken Holliman highlights the timeless appeal, noting that the homeowner chose colors they truly love. The unique tilework in the kitchen and bathrooms, along with vibrant rugs, add character and warmth. Comfortable, stylish chairs enhance the living and primary bedroom spaces.

BOLD CONTRAST
This high style bathroom renovation by ADC Interior Designer Laken Holliman features a modern aesthetic in black and white. Geometric details are seen in the patterned floor and intricate sink backsplash. Gold hardware pops against the black surfaces, while the bold white countertops give light to the dramatic space.
Attention to detail is seen in the expanded footprint and door placement during the renovation process, among other details such as the foot niche for an easy way to shave and store products. A motorized shade completes the look for a private spa-worthy bathroom.
