News Update from LESS AS - Patient Evacuation Specialist
Ebola challenge pushing product development forward When the world today needs urgent actions, globalization has brought people and companies together in a way that makes response easier, faster and better. The ongoing Ebola crisis in Western Africa has challenged the world community in a big way. Four European companies have found themselves challenged by the urgent need for transport solutions adequate for highly infectious patients. Norwegian based LESS AS developed together with German CBRN Specialist, Protec Tech a prototype based on an existing Austrian manufacturer Blaschke’s military version negative pressure transport chamber. Numerous improvements for patient monitoring and safety were implemented. Finally, German Schrot Safety Products joined the team, integrating state-of-the-art patient safety belts.
