I extend my warmest greetings as we reflect on the past few months at Anchorpoint Interiors

Our commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of commercial fit-outs continues to shape our path

An exciting array of projects underway in the cities of London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Bristol Our dedicated delivery teams are hard at work, crafting these spaces as we near the time when we can proudly hand them over to our valued clients We spoke to our Project Delivery Manager Louella who said, 'We currently have an exciting project in Glasgow city centre I am working alongside our site team to revitalise the office space to create a modern and collaborative environment The city centre location is fantastic; it offers our teams access to amenities and a vibrant atmosphere that energises our workforce We've prioritised sustainability in this project, incorporating eco-friendly designs and materials where possible, aligning with Glasgow's commitment to being a greener city ' Stay tuned for the unveiling of these transformations as we continue to redefine the future of office design and build across the UK

At Anchorpoint Interiors, we understand that the landscape of office design has evolved massively in response to the COVID-19 pandemic Our commitment to creating safe and productive work environments has led us to implement a range of innovative design elements Here are a few examples of how office layouts, ventilation, and technology have been shaping the future of workspace design within Anchorpoint

Our design team has rethought office layouts to prioritise flexibility with modular and adaptable furniture systems that can easily accommodate hybrid working Since the pandemic, many employees now split their time between the office and remote work Adaptable furniture allows staff to transition between different setups Spaces such as collaboration zones and quiet areas give a balance between brainstorming sessions and virtual meetings

Breathing fresh, clean air is essential That's why we've placed a strong emphasis on air quality and ventilation Our designs feature high-efficiency HVAC systems to improve air filtration and purification These systems help to capture airborne particles, including viruses and bacteria, resulting in a lower chance of indoor transmission

Technology is at the heart of our designs Anchorpoint has integrated online systems such as space management to ensure employees find workstations quickly, also allowing for capacity control Touchless entry doors have also reduced physical touchpoints making it safer for employees to enter their workspace while reducing the risk of germ spreading If you would like to learn more about the features we have included in our designs to accommodate the change since the pandemic, please don't hesitate to reach out for a conversation

What's the funniest or most memorable moment you've experienced with your colleagues at work?

Actually, it was sitting outside the office in the sunshine over summer enjoying a BBQ that was put on - was just a really nice afternoon enjoying the weather and banter with everyone in the team

What's your go-to comfort food or guilty pleasure?

It's hard to beat a plate of spaghetti bolognese for comfort food

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

To control time would be great to be able to slow things down and really enjoy more of the good times with friends and family but I wouldn't say no to speeding time up through the occasional meeting or traffic jams or adverts or long haul flights

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what 3 things would you want to have with you?

A fully stocked bar with plenty of ice, some SPF 30 and I suppose an emergency sat nav phone to use once all the ice melts
