RESIDENTIAL ESTATE 1509 AZALEA COURT
WESTLAKE TX USA
For this property in West ake the f rst impression is driven by a thoughtful drought-tolerant plant composition framing the entrance The p ant compos tion is mixed with raw natural mater a s, and the front yard serves as a strik ng visua focal point from the street before the layout opens up nto a funct ona backyard escape Here the des gn centers around a pool creating flu d zones for people who d rather stay home than go out from intimate f re pit gather ngs and a lounge swing next to a dripping stone water bowl to sunbath ng awns and a m ni-va ley with ta grasses that catch the wind and create a nice acoustic background. My focus was on a min mal palette using local Texas l mestone to anchor the wi d look of ornamenta grasses The combination creates a real y grounded private atmosphere no matter where you sit After sunset warm string ghts change the whole mood making it a spot to just chil and c ear your head
