The crescent creates a public area concentrating activity into the centre of the site and presents aclear link to the village Green The widened access allows for planting and improves the entrance to the footpath creating an attractivecorner to The Green and a welcoming entrance to the proposal site.
Key to the development is its relationship to the Village Green and contributes positively to this village asset.At the expense of private garden we have proposed a stone wall around the rear garden of the crescent and brought the wall back toUnit 10 leaving rear windows facing towardthe Green.

The atrium is the heart of the school, which connects the departments and overview, whileits placeis a familiar learning environment for the group andsecurity, safety and grip.
The project has a very high ambition in the field of sustainable building: a complete zero energy school with a healthy learning and working environment. The design reflects this concept: a gate, doorway, as a connection, a meeting with the port and a symbol of energy neutrality.

As an outbuilding of a catering space in the building block, the teahouse is located on the foundations of the old pumping station of Dock Perry. Glass plates in the floor make the old pump and foundations visible.
Underthedomeroof,amodelboatishung,theshipbuilders of the Scheldt made it to test stability and aerodynamics of ships.
The dome is carried out in the form of a ‘low-tech’glass shell: solar controlglass isisolated using stainless steel plates firmly put on the wooden beams that, of course, refer to shipbuilding.
In the rear façades there are two sets of double doors tpallow the tea house operate in periods of dry weather, workingasacoveredterrace.Ifthesunshinesthen the shutters can be put up and the doors open so the hot air can goout.
