PARKS INFORMATION & UPDATES

Fitness stations and sidewalk improvements have been completed at Maxwell Park. You will fnd the new ftness equipment along the walkway just south of Haskett Library. Enjoy learning about tips for health and wellness on the colorful signs adjacent to each group of machines. Funding for this project came from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

Soon to be under construction is Center Greens. East of City Hall, this will become a community centerpiece in the Anaheim Downtown area to play, exercise, attend community events and relaxation. See the attached master plan. We expect the new park area to be open early Summer of 2024. The Downtown Community Center, Downtown Youth Center and the playground will remain open during construction.

The Citrus Park Playground renovation has begun!

We expect the playground to be open by early June. See the illustration showing the amenities and colors attached. The Ross Park Playground replacement will begin once Citrus Park is completed and open. Please see the pictures showing the amenities and colors.

Aloe Promenade is a new park totaling .62 acres. Linear in shape, this park offers shaded seating areas, art, a bocce ball court, and a foosball table, turf areas, a water feature, and landscaping.

Whether you are having a birthday party or a family picnic, we have shelters throughout Anaheim that can host your event.
