Nutcracker Tree Lighting and Holiday Shopping Village
This festive holiday event has been planned and organized by a dedicated group of community volunteers for 25 years. It all began on October 28, 1995, with a vision of a community bustling around in happy holiday surroundings in an authentic hometown atmosphere. The Anaheim Nutcracker Holiday committee was formed by the merchants of Center Street Promenade and a handful of community volunteers.
Traditional activities include horse-drawn carriage rides, choral groups, marching bands, community children’s group entertainment, and Santa arriving via one of Anaheim’s gleaming fire trucks. Today, many traditional activities are still part of the event, such as family entertainment, the lighting of the Christmas tree, performances by community children’s groups, train rides, a visit from Santa, holiday crafts, and more.

Join us for a colorful and entertaining one-night event at Pearson Park Amphitheatre as we celebrate Dia de Los Muertos or Day of the Dead, a time-honored Mexican tradition. This unique celebration harmoniously blends the rich cultures of Mexico’s indigenous peoples and that of European immigrants who first set foot in the Americas over 500 years ago. Day of the Dead is a heartfelt holiday centered around bringing family and friends together to pay tribute to and remember loved ones who have passed on. This is achieved through the creation of vibrant altars adorned with colorful flowers, beautiful and ornate imagery, photographs, food, drinks, and cherished possessions once held by the dearly departed.
So come on out and enjoy an evening with us as we celebrate and feature live music, captivating dance, delicious food, and so much more. You too can honor your loved ones and embrace life’s beauty at this family friendly community event! At the Tiny Tots Academy, we help our kids get F. I.I .T. for Kindergarten by building their FOUNDATIONAL skills, encouraging them to INTE RACT with kids their age, and having a safe space where they can use their IMAGINATION, all while implementing classroom TRADITIONS.
Our goal is to cultivate a positive and nurturing environment that prepares toddlers for kindergarten and beyond. By introducing each child to foundational classroom skills while self-confidence and the ability to work with their peers!

DAY of the DeAD Una Noche de Comunidad y Cultura
Acompáñenos en un colorido y entretenido evento único en el Anfiteatro del Parque Pearson mientras celebramos el Día de Los Muertos, una tradición mexicana consagrada. Esta celebración única mezcla armoniosamente las ricas culturas de las personas indígenas de México y la de los inmigrantes europeos que pisaron por primera vez las Américas hace más de 500 años. El Día de los Muertos es una festividad muy sentida centrada en reunir a la familia y amigos para rendir homenaje y recordar a los seres queridos que han fallecido.
