Our program focuses on player skill development, physical fitness, and building team spirit in a fun and safe environment. League is nine weeks long beginning the week of June 23 and includes seven games played on Saturdays. Each player will receive a jersey and participation award. All games and practices are held at the East Anaheim Gymnasium.
Practice Days: Monday (4-5pm, 5-6pm, 6-7pm) Tuesday (4-5pm or 5-6pm) or Friday (4-5pm, 5-6pm, 6-7pm). Each player will have only one practice day each week during one of the day and time slots above. Practice day and times are subject to change.

ACTIVE OLDER ADULT & SENIOR PROGRAMS
The City of Anaheim offers a variety of activities throughout the City. They include pickle ball, volleyball, table tennis, educational and exercise classes, movie days, special events, workshops, technology instruction, a wide variety of games including bingo, bridge and billiards, specialized support groups and more. For up-to-date information please call 714-765-4511.
The lunch program for older adults offers a hot meal, socializing and music. Located at Brookhurst Community Center, 2271 W. Crescent, Anaheim, CA the hot meal program is designed for older adults aged 60 plus. The meals are donation-based and are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Transportation service is available for Anaheim active adults aged 60 and over. Participants must be residents of the City of Anaheim. You may use the Senior Wheels Program for transportation within a 10-mile radius of your home in the City of Anaheim. Non- emergency medical appointment transportation options are available. Availability and hours are subject to change.
Nutrition – transportation to the city sponsored congregate meal site. The hours are from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
Social, Recreation, Shopping & Medical - transportation hours are Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday & Sunday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

THE ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION has donated $3176 to various programs at the Central, Euclid, Haskett, & Ponderosa Library branches.
HILARY LOUISE LACHER donated $85 towards the Day of Child Program at the Haskett Branch Library.
THE SEARCHERS GEM AND MINERAL SOCIETY donated $750 toward the Anaheim Library’s STEAM on the GO! Program to enhance the programs STEAM Earth Science subject kits.
ANAHEIM DUCKS/OC VIBE donated $77,211 towards the APL Winter 2025 Reading Program, “Break the Ice!” providing a special edition library card featuring Wild Wing and various prizes for books/ minutes read.
BJ’S RESTAURANTS will donate 200 coupons, estimated to be worth $1,898 for full-size Pizookies, to help provide incentives for the 2025 Winter Reading Program.
COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP OF ORANGE COUNTY continued to donate diapers and pull-ups as part of the community emergency services.
DENISE BARNES donated food items to the Anaheim Senior Center, which cost an estimated $200.
DR. JUNE GLENN generously donated 35 new books totaling $1,142 to the Anaheim Public Library.
KEVIN MOORE donated 111 new books totaling $2,596 to the Anaheim Public Library.
We want to thank BRACKEN’S KITCHEN, CATERINA’S CLUB, DWELLING PLACE ANAHEIM, FRIENDS OF FAMILIES, LOVE ANAHEIM, RENEWABLE FARMS-RIVERBED FARM, and SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK for their continued support in providing the food pantries with prepared meals, fresh vegetables, and fruits for the Anaheim families in need.
