CampVenture is a supervised program that provides a week-long day camp filled with adventure and fun for children ages 6-12. Wilderness Survival Camp

We are excited to offer four weeks of wilderness fun for your pre-teen this year! This adventurous camp for teens ages 12-15 teaches the fundamentals of wilderness survival. Campers will build shelters, hone their archery skills, and learn basic first aid during these themed weeks of survival fun! Participants must bring their snacks and lunch.

At the Tiny Tots Academy, we help our kids get F.I.I.T. for Kindergarten by building their Foundational skills, encouraging them to Interact with kids their age, and having a safe space where they can use their Imagination, all while implementing classroom Traditions.

Experienced and caring leaders who are trained to focus on developing our 5 key skills!

Our Tiny Tots:

All program participants must be toilet trained (no pull ups or training pant). Additional fees for class field trips may apply. Participation in all external events is optional.

Transportation service is available for Anaheim active adults aged 60 and over. Participants must be a resident of the City of Anaheim. You may use the Senior Wheels Program for transportation within a 10-mile radius of your home in the City of Anaheim. Non-emergency medical appointment transportation options are available. Availability and hours subject to change.

Nutrition – transportation to the city sponsored congregate meal site. The hours are from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM.

Social, Recreation, Shopping & Medical - transportation hours are Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday & Sunday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

PATTI HIRAHARA contributed $500 to support the continuing maintenance and addition of material to the digital Hirahara Family Photo Collection on the Anaheim Public Library's website.

Oak Canyon Nature Center received a monetary donation of $205 from the FRIENDS OF OAK CANYON NATURE CENTER to support its nature programs and $250 from Council Member Kristen Maahs to support the fall Acorn Festival.

IN-KIND DONATIONS

DWELLING PLACE ANAHEIM continues to provide in-kind donations with a variety of quality food to families in need each week. This has a tremendous impact on the families’ health and welfare. Valued at over $513,000.

GIRL SCOUTS TROOP 8257 generously donated a rock wall for the Ackie Monitor display at Oak Canyon Nature Center.

WILDBIRDS UNLIMITED IN YORBA LINDA donated over $200 in birdseed for the bird area at Oak Canyon Nature Center.

YOUNG LEADERS OF ORANGE COUNTY provided tutoring to elementary students at Haskett Library every Friday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., valued at over $3,000.

• Request for refund made within 5 days or less before the first class meeting are subject to a 10% withdrawal fee.

• Requests for refund made 24 hours or less prior to the first class meeting are subject to a 15% withdrawal fee.

• Refunds will not be granted after the second class meeting. Refunds must be requested prior to the start of the second class meeting.
